I think this has an appropriate size, weight, durability, and texture for a throw blanket. It looks nice and feels cozy! There was a bit of an odd smell to the blanket before washing it, but it seems like the smell was caused by a plastic mesh laundry bag that it was packaged with. I threw that mesh bag away. It was not needed for any reason and seemed like a waste of plastic. The smell did not persist after the first wash. I didn't notice any changes in the fabric or signs of damage or deterioration after washing it (delicate settings) and drying it on a low heat setting. It seems durable.

I bought two of these blankets to replace fleece throw blankets that were just too warm for summer. These are perfect! Great quality, nice weight, very snuggly.

This is a beautiful, quality knit blanket that I find very comfortable. I use it as the blanket on my bed, sleeping under just my top flat sheet and this blanket. It has a noticable weight (but not what I would call heavy), is warm, but is also breathable so you don't get too hot under it. It's been absolutely perfect for me, and I would describe it best as the perfect blanket for a nap. It has a nice weave/pattern to it that has stayed true, and the cats have also not pulled any of the threads out. No issues with pilling or shedding either. I will caution that you should NOT wash this in a top loader washer: once the blanket is wet it is SUPER HEAVY, and if it doesn't break your washer drum, it's certainly going to sound like it is!I'm extremely happy with this purchase - it's exactly what I was looking for!

The blanket was great, color was accurate, softness and thickness was nice. But they sent me a smaller size in the correct packaging. Ended up returning.

This blanket is light for as much material as it has. It is really pretty too. It's stretchy and comfortable.

I own three of these blankets in different colors, it's become my all-purpose blanket. This blanket is exactly at described - it's a thick cotton blanket that's sturdy and long lasting. It doesn't shed much, it washes well (keeps its color), it doesn't smell, the threads don't come undone, and it's nice and warm (the most important part!).

I use a King size on a Full size bed, folded in half.On spring/fall nights (35-60-degrees F) I can sleep with window open and ceiling fan on Med in 10x10 bedroom and it keeps me perfectly warm with quality, 170ct cotton sheets.In summer I use single layer with AC at 68 and same room environment and it works wonderfully allowing body to breathe throughout the night. Super soft and quality made, my g/f got smaller one for her couch “snuggle blanket” the weave is a loose weave so do not recommend for small children/ or pets that would snag on it.While “lightweight” in its actual weight, it gives that comfortable “weighted” feeling when doubled. It is also somewhat stretchy due to the looseness of the weave, so a slight pull definitely makes sure that it fits bed perfectly and/or when snuggled on g/f couch, we can both wrap up in it together.
