A decent, minimal charger
ProsI felt like this charger was a decent quality but works pretty good and takes up minimal space on my desk. I have used this for 2 weeks no problems.ConsI would have purchased more of these if the item was a lower price, to me 25 is a little much for something with a mediocre build quality. Lastly, the screws that come with the item are practically useless/difficult to screw into hard wood.

Nearly Perfect
After staying at a vacation home where the nightstands in the master bedroom were wired for charging phones and other portable screens, I went looking for something similar to add this convenience to my own nightstands. This is meant to be installed underneath a desktop, but it just as easily rotates 90 degrees and installs on the back of a nightstand for easy access. The only issue I found with this, and thus only 4 stars, was the small screws included with the item. I replaced them with slightly longer, slightly thicker screws so that they wouldn't strip out the wood and come free. The manufacturer could easily change this single feature without adding more than a few pennies per unit, and it would make this a perfect item worth of every five-star review.

It's too smart to be useful!
The "built in Smart-safety chip" isn't so smart. Whatever you plug into this thing will be a roll of the dice- it may not supply enough power (or any at all).It supplies almost NO power to the rechargable USB scan guns we have, regardless of whether the scanner is in the cradle or not. Leave it to some electrical engineers to make a USB charging device that is _less capable than a PC_ at charging your stuff. I expected from the notes about it being compatible with all phones and tablets that the "smart features" would come into play if trying to charge one of those type devices, but apparently it's not capable of even powering basic USB devices.

Provides Excellent Convenience
Love the convenience offered by this desktop charger. It's design allows for perfect position placement to charge items such as my Logitech keyboard and mouse. No more of a need to drape a USB charging cable across or from under my desk, to the computer, for charging. I've owned this for at least a couple of months now and it has stayed well adhered to my glass desktop. My home office is on the 2nd floor and it does have tendency to become warm during the heat of the day. I'll be ordering another one for my other office desk, for sure.

USB CHARGING ONLY
USB charging hub! No data transfer! It works great, does what it’s intended, has 1 fast charging port. It’s a little expensive for what it is, but there’s really no other options to add a nice edge mountable USB charger to a nightstand.

Awesome charging solution, for the minimalist in you!
The media could not be loaded. If you're like me, all of your computer USB/USB-C as well as ports on your docking station are completely full. I was looking for something to charge my peripherals without utilizing any of my main ports for transferring data. PowerRail does just that. It provides a minimalist design to put or your computer, desk or monitor and simply charges devices. I highly recommend this product for anyone who's in need of a charging solution that doesn't hog up your main I/O ports.

Works great - one less thing on my desk
I used double sided tape to stick the hub to the under side of my desk.I get distracted by clutter on my desk and am constantly trying to declutter my work surface. But, I really needed a USB hub to keep my gadgets charged. Having the hub hiding under the desk means I don't have to have to look at it and I don't have to move it during desk wipe down.
