The bamboo handle feels a little rough, but my hands are small. So I only hold the metal casing and it feels fine. I smoothed copper tape on many projects with this burnisher and I am very happy with the results. A good buy for the price.

The Stone is okay, but the craftsmanship is extremely poor Quality... but for the price, I understand...Nevertheless, they will not last... The Metal doesn't wrap around the Wood, and the Handles are made of Popsicle Sticks.

I do not recommend these agate burnishers. The bamboo handles are so rough you will get splinters. There's barely any sealer on them and they would probably give you blisters too. There's dried glue oozing out from both ends of the metal handle parts and the metal doesn't even fit the handle so it could scratch your project if angled wrong. I will be returning these promptly. I use agate burnishers for students in a jewelry class and would be embarrassed to put these out. All my other agate burnishers were purchased from a jewelry making supply company and I will continue to spend a dollar or two more with them again not these here through Amazon.
