Rohde Men's 1550 Slippers

I ordered these as a gift for my Husband, he has a pair currently, which he loves. They are soft and comfortable and stay smart looking for ages, very durable. True to size, good quality.

Quality and price. These are still going strong and it's been a long while since I got them.They are also fine for walking to the outdoor bins.

Not as comfortable as my old Rohde slippers but after a few weeks they have been feeling much more comfortable. They are narrower than my old ones which I had for at least 25 years and used even when doing DIY. I had to go up a size for the New ones to fit but I am happy with them.6 months later and the half insoles (leather bit) have become detached - certainly not as good quality as my 25 year old ones! Compare new ones versus old ones which though beginning to fall apart the insoles are still firmly in place!

I like everything about this slippers. Truly comfortable. Very chic looking. Yet another great product by Amazon.

These slippers are of excellent quality.The materials used and the manufacturing are very good indeed, far better than many, more expensive, pairs of slippers I have bought in the past.I normally wear a UK size 8 1/2 in a Crockett and Jones Tetbury boot, for these slippers, the Euro size 43 has proven to be right for me.I would suggest considering purchasing in a size larger than you would ordinarily choose, since the fit is snug, even after 'breaking in'.If you have a high instep, going up a size will make the slipper even more comfortable.The upper is of a waxy leather, quite glossy with a very slightly grained finish.Stitching and workmanship is of a very good quality.The sole is about half an inch thick, rising to about an inch and a half at the heel, very flexible and supportive, giving good traction on tiled or parquet floors.There is sufficient 'bounce' in the sole to make walking very comfortable.The slippers are more than capable of being used outside on damp grass.It isn't often one can recommend a product without reservation, but in this instance, I feel justified in so doing.As a footnote ( no pun intended ) I bought a pair of 'Rohde Women's Neustadt-D Mules as a gift for a female friend, and have received similar feedback regarding the quality and comfort from the very happy recipient.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07NR3C7TZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These slippers seem well made, look nice and are comfortable when first worn. However, after only 2 weeks of wear, my husband has a huge blister on the arch of his foot! The innersole is not one piece - it's just at the heel. Where the inner (heel) sole stops there is a definite ridge which rubs the arch of your foot. Sadly these are no longer wearable. I hope the seller contacts me as I want to return them for a refund.

I ordered these mules in my normal 7 UK size and sadly they were impossibly small, so much so, that my heels extended by a good half inch over the back of the mule. It's a shame because they looked good and were clearly well made.

This is a very high quality product. Unfortunately the size I ordered (conversion from Canadian to European) is too small, so I had to return it (authorization to return was instantaneous). I will be ordering a larger size, and hope to be happy with that one.

J'en avais déjà acheté il y a environ 2 ans. Ce sont des chaussons en cuir de qualité. Ils sont très confortables. J'ai pris cette fois une taille supérieure (44 au lieu de 42). Ce n'est pas à cause des chaussons mais de mes pieds !
