I looked at a few options for edging before buying this. At first I was sceptical given it was half the price of most of the others I looked at, but it's easy to install and was an excellent replacement for some old, rotten log roll edging that was there before. It was also delivered within a few days (most of the others were a week or more for delivery) and we got two free pairs of gloves with it, which was a bonus!.

This installed very easily on the curves of the new path but was an absolute pain to get a straight line, ended up clamping it to a batten before pegging it down. Plenty of pegs supplied and no breakages as others have reported. Not sure about the robustness, it certainly needs to be covered to about 1cm from the top to stop it flexing. Would recommend for use in domestic low demand settings but not for a drive.

The edging itself was easy to work into a circular edge for a manhole cover.However the ground pegs themselves needed to be hit carefully into harder ground as not hitting exactly square caused the plastic head to break off.Overall a good product but would recommend using stronger ground spikes than those provided in the kit.

Works fine for wavy edging but if you want a straight line this is hard to achieve.

Bought this to separate a flower bed with bark from the lawn. Only slight curves so it fitted easily. Plenty of strong plastic pegs. Pleased with this. After trying other plastic edging that was very flimsy, I gave this a try and was not disappointed .

If you follow the instructions and lay the border out in the sunshine to warm up it is certainly less brittle and easier to use. The single peg every third hole is appropriate and makes the border secure. The border is not very tall, so if you need a bigger border height then buy one that’s more suitable. In my case the height is appropriate. Would buy again.

Product was great. The pegs went in easily with moderately moist soil - I felt confident bashing them in with a 20oz hammer. Potential drawbacks: I'd say you'd definitely struggle to make this border perfectly straight. I was going for a 'curvy' style, so this was fine for my needs. I noticed that the box included a couple pairs of gloves (which would come in handy in a pinch).
