I don't know where I've been all of Dwight's life, but I have newly discovered him and am crazy wild for his music. This cd has him covering some old songs, including recordings originally by Buck Owens and he puts his fresh take on them without losing the authenticity of the original. Really a fun energetic cd! It doesn't get into the long, hard, sad tales but keeps the toes tapping and the mood up. Really love his energy and style.

My dad loves this CD

I really love Dwight Yoakam and all his music that he recorded. I have purchased just everyone of his Album or will her soon. I love his sound and for staying true his way of singing Country Music.

This CD has the song that introduced me to Dwight Yoakam- his duet with Buck Owens on Streets of Bakersfield. For me, that alone would make it worth the purchase price. It also has a nice cross section of tunes from the first decades of Yoakam's career, beginning with Cadillacs, Guitars, which I believe was his first big hit. If you've just become aquainted with Yoakam's singing and songwriting, this CD is a great way to sample a lot of the songs that made his reputation.

I have several Dwight albums and on each I love most of them but not all..how brilliant to get all my best loved ones on one CD and what a good price !there's only one thing to say if you love Dwight do not miss this..if youv'e only just found Dwight BUY IT, and if you love country with a spanish mexican...hill billy sound you will love this 100%
