TEKTON Combination Wrench Set, 15-Piece (1/4-1 in.) - Holder | 18772

Was needing a set of wrenches to put in my truck and after reading some of the reviews I bought this Tekton set. I also watched a few videos on the internet on these tools and everyone seems to agree they are a good quality tool at a respectable price. Their not made in China which was a huge plus, I think Taiwan quality is way ahead of the chinese and I'm tired of buying CCP products.

I primarily use gear wrench ratcheting wrenches on a daily basis, these are a good backup and I like how these have 22mm. It’s cheap and it would work for any DIY mechanic just starting out.

I’ll start by saying that every Tekton tool I’ve purchased has been of high quality in relation to its price. While I give the actual wrenches here 5 stars, I feel the need to point out the awful stitching job. Upon receiving and inspecting the wrench set, the stitching immediately came apart. Further inspection of the remaining stitches appear to be of similar poor quality. While this isn’t a huge deal, perhaps Tekton could improve the pouch through double stitches or better QC? Ultimately it isn’t worth my time or energy to send these back for a replacement due to this minor defect. Hopefully the rest of the pouch will hold together, but only time will tell.

I have been using the set quite regularly. For the price I think they are very good. Like the polished chrome finish and carrying case with Velcro is a nice plus.I would recommend

I purchased these as a beginner set of wrenches in 2015 not knowing (or expecting) they’d still be going strong today. I have 2 sets of the metric and 2 sets of the standard, so 4 sets total. I think I paid around $30 a set back in the day with promo codes, so this is easily one of the best investments I have made regarding garage tools. THEY.ARE.THAT.GOOD. I see they are around $58~ today 5 years later, and I would still say that’s a heck of a deal considering the quality and durability, not to mention that everything has increased in price since them.I have used these wrenches at least weekly (sometimes every day for a month straight). I have accidentally left them on the garage floor, outside in the snow/rain/mud covered grass, and I have frequently used the 16-22mm’s as breaker bars on each other (to the point where I could see them stretching) when I needed more torque to remove pesky bolts that were stuck. I’ve spilled every automotive oil, lubricant, fluid, and cleaner known to man on them at one point or another.I have been very hard on these wrenches, and they have no business holding up how they did. The crazy thing is, they still look BRAND NEW too. No rust, they’re perfectly straight, shiny, and smooth, and they have no stripped or misshaped ends. They still fit bolts as snug as the day I got them. I did soak them with WD-40 then wipe them down with a cloth in the summer of 2017 to remove some oxidation after they sat outside for 2 weeks, other than that I’ve done nothing to protect or clean them.I really recommend these wrenches. I honestly think they’re going to last me my entire lifetime. I have a few other Tekton hand tools I bought in the same order that are still going strong also, they’re definitely a higher quality brand without the high quality prices. I’m not convinced there are nicer wrenches out there, only more expensive ones. This is the best deal for your hard earned money. 5 STARS!!!

Solid tools. Roll cases seem well made. I've had very good results with the Tekton brand (sockets and wrenches anyway)

Very nice spanners, feel nice in the hand, well balanced, excellent chrome finish. Good broaching, all the ones I've used, and that's most of them, have been a good fit on the nuts and bolts. No chrome peeling yet, no deformation of the open ends. Any issues not due to me, I will update. So impressed I'm going to buy the imperial set to work on MG and Triumph cars. Shame they don't do a whitworth set, or sell these spanners individually on Amazon. Buy yourself some, you won't be disappointed.

Very nice they are weighty and just feel so strong. Just as good as my bluepoint set which cost nearly triple the price.

Tekton are great price top product. Great finish can not fault them. No skips in sizes is a great advantage to other sets. Have alot of tekton products. Would recommend there deep and shallow sockets too. 😊

Tekton wrenches have become my new favorite box end wrenches. High quality and nice feel with great looks at a super affordable price. The feel of these wrenches are very nice and the polished finish awesome.I've re-equipped several tool carts and boxes with these metric and imperial wrench sets and couldn't be happier.My newest sets in the cloth roll up pouches are THE perfect setup for my race cars where I can have them portable inside our pit bike in case we need in pre-grid and when in use can be spread out next to the car for daily nut and bolt checks.I have multiple sets of Proto, Craftsman, Jet over 40 years of collecting tools and now I'm adding and replacing with Tekton as I'm super impressed with this brand.
