Your mileage may vary
The use of these automatic watering bottle adapters is hit/miss. Reason is the drip valve adjustment. Basically, after the filled water bottle is connected to the adapter, you invert the whole thing and stick the pointed staff into the dirt to hold it vertical. The cup will fill with water and slowly drip out of that little black twist valve. The challenge here is you set the speed of which you choose to drip and whether or not it stays at that setting. My experience has been this, I set the drip speed, test it for a minute or two. Satisfied with the choice, I place the whole thing on my plants and check it an hour is so later, and I don't see any dripping coming out.Looking at the device, there's not much to them. So why doesn't it work correctly doesn't make sense. I may take a small jewelry file to the drip ports and clean them up to see if it makes a difference. What's the point of setting and forgetting, if I have to check and check?PROS: ease of use and relatively inexpensiveCONS: doesn't provide peace of mind that it is working as designed.OVERALL: it might work for you and it may not.

Not very helpful
Bought these for vacation. I could not get the valves to regulate . It was one speed or not at all. When it was slower, the water overflowed. Im not sure if the instructions need to be more detailed or what but the water all flowed out well before my vacation was over and did not do as they say it would. Very disappointed. At least they were not very expensive.
