Dr. Pepper Soda, Diet Caffeine Free Fridge Pack -2 Packs

Since my doctor has recommended I cut out caffeine and sugar, I was thrilled to fine Caffeine free & diet Dr. Pepper. It is very hard to find in local stores, so I was happy to be able to get it delivered to my door.

Before the pandemic, caffeine-free diet Dr Pepper was everywhere. For almost four years now, there appears to be none in Tulsa or surrounding communities.The box arrived in good shape. Upon opening it I found the two, 12-packs, and they appeared to be in pretty good shape, although the section of the boxes where you tear it open to get cans out appeared to be punched open. That's no big deal, and no cans were missing. The openings on the packs weren't completely torn off, just some of the dotted lines punched through.I had no leakage, which was my biggest concern after reading horror stories from other purchasers. I wouldn't have minded if all the cans had been removed from the 12 packs and put loose in packing peanuts, as long as they all get to me in one piece.At least the first can looks very mildly dented, damaged I assume in transit. It didn't affect the taste at all, which, if you've ever tasted caffeine free diet Dr Pepper, you know this is the nectar of the gods. I'd missed the taste of this, which to my tongue is less bitter than the caffeinated version. (Not everybody tastes the difference, for scientific reasons I don't understand and can't explain.)Although I'd rather purchase this locally (and for a lower price), I'm thrilled this is available, and will purchase from this seller again (as long as they're able to keep prices within reason). With as much soda I drink, if the prices were lower, I'd buy more often! However, as another reviewer mentioned, it's likely they'd lose money on the shipping if they did.Thanks for providing access to this wonderful product!

Misleading. Says two pack, but is only one 12 pack. Even though further description says 12 cans, it is misleading because of high price and saying it's two packs.

I was in a Weight Watchers post and they mentioned this soda, I love Dr Pepper and I didn't know if came in diet caffeine free.

Update ... I do not like how the seller cuts the packages in half to fit in a square box. When removing the cut in half boxes from their shipping container, one of the cans fell and exploded due to the boxes having one side completely exposed. These should be shipped in tact as it is hard to transport/store the cans in the original box when it has been sliced in half.I am highly sensitive to caffeine ... I drink even one caffeinated soda and within a day or two I will have a splitting withdrawal headache. This is even the case when I drink decaffeinated coffee. Even a minute amount of caffeine will trigger a migraine headache and feelings of jumpiness and anxiousness the next day or two. Dr. Pepper might be one of my favorite sodas in the world. I am so frustrated that most other sodas are readily available decaffeinated, except for Dr. Pepper. The hack is that because Dr. Pepper was originated in Texas, you can still buy decaffeinated Dr. Pepper ONLY in that state.I have written many requests to the company about distributing outside of Texas, but my guess is that so few people share my caffeine misery that it's not worth it to freight heavy cases across the US. Thankfully, there are Texas sellers who offer it, at a slight markup. (I say slight because the costs of shipping are rising like crazy and it wouldn't surprise me if it cost the seller $25 just to ship 24 cans across the country). While $40 for 24 cans might seem expensive, I feel as though about $1.90 per can is fair. That's about what you'd pay at a theme park or convenience store for a cold can of soda.All of my cans arrived in tact, with no breakage/leaking cans. I was a bit put off to see SO much styrophome used in the packaging. I guess when you are dealing with soda cans, you can't be too careful but my kitchen was full of styrophome peanuts and they really are terrible for the environment. There were also styrophome sheets. Bubble wrap, or air cushions, which are recyclable would be better. But ... I will say the packing was fantastic and allowed 24 full cans to arrive.I don't notice any difference in the taste of Caffeine Free Dr. Pepper vs. regular Dr. Pepper. I do like the non-diet version much better from a flavor standpoint, but each can of the non-diet soda is LOADED with sugar, so these diet Dr. Pepper are likely the way to go from a health standpoint. Aspartame is not the best thing in the world to put into your body ... and the diet Dr. Pepper contains that chemical, but I only drink a can or two per day, so I'm not stressing.Thanks to this seller for making a fairly reasonable price on a product so many of us love but cannot find, as it is only sold in Texas. I love a cold can with dinner ... especially spicy food. Half a can of Dr. Pepper mixed into your chili recipe gives it a great flavor. I will be back when this is done. I figure a decent bottle of rum or whiskey costs about $40 ... so I don't mind paying the same price for 2 - 3 weeks' supply of the only type of Dr. Pepper I can drink, without the caffeine.

I love Dr Pepper! What are my favorite sodas around? However, I don’t drink sugary ones and I’ve cut out caffeine. I live in Seneca South Carolina and it seems like no locations carry this. This was my only option.Came boxed well and earlier than expected! Thank you so much for having us available.

Stater Bros used to carry this but it's been YEARS. I LOVE it bit this is stupid expensive!! So now once a year on my birthday I get myself a 12 pk. Otherwise I'd keep it in the house.

One of the cans was empty.. it appeared the can was punctured very slightly when packaged. The soda seeped out and also damaged the shipping box.
