Mould and Paint Your Own Creepy Crawlers Craft Set - Make Figurines for Kids to Paint That Glow in The Dark

We got this for our son's 6th birthday. He loves bugs and he loves doing crafts. This is the perfect combo of both. He did need some supervision in the clay making process but he loved painting his bugs! It was very easy to put together and didn't take much time at all. He wants me to find more plaster powder so he can do it again and again. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my 7 year old grandson and he absolutely loved it. It is very easy to create the creepy crawlers, and he had to much fun painting it. I love that he is able to watch the molds dry, and put his own personal touches on finishing it. I would highly recommend this product, and the price is very reasonable.

This would have been a great purchase and and entertaining gift had the paints not been completely dried out. Better directions for mixing the plaster would be helpful; if you make the entire bag, excess will dry out fast before it can be used. It is hard to get the right consistency when making smaller amounts.

I mixed the plaster they dry quick we painted them about a hour later. My grandson liked bugs and this was fun for him to paint them and we talked about bugs.

Do not make the whole bag at once. It dries in seconds!!! Make 1 at a time.

I added in the specified water ratio and the plaster was still mostly powder. After adding a bunch more water, I had to look up online what kid craft plaster consistency is supposed to look like. Then I added water until the suggested consistency I found online, but it was still lumpy, a little thick, and hard to work with. I added the "good enough" mixture to the mold. It did not dry in 45 min - it was in fact two entire nights before it was dry to the touch. The mold was too shallow, so after "drying" the figures just crumbled out of the mold. I have a PhD in a science field, and making kid critters out of plaster mold for my five-year-old was just too difficult with this kit. 1/10 do not recommend.

Packaging was a little loose but that’s to be expected when offing player kits, I wish there were a way to jus buy the paint it’s self because my son left his out and it dried up but very fun to do!

I had one like this when I was a kid. I bought two so both grandkids can experience. Would love other kinds if available.
