Bought for my wife as a replacement for a double thick sweatshirt that she has owned for the last 20 years. Although the old sweatshirt was warm it was also quite bulky and hard to move around in, especially the arms.This pullover has two advantages over the old sweatshirt. First it has the zipper on the front that allows it to be put on and taken off easier. This is a plus for my wife as she has long hair and wears dangly earrings.The zipper also allows for temperature control as you can unzip as you heat up. It also is cut differently under the arms to provide significantly more unrestricted movement of the arms and shoulders.The material is soft for a sweatshirt and yet is durable enough to be worn outside on its' own. Worn for multiple outdoor winter activities and stands up to the abuse. It is quickly becoming a favorite of my wife to wear both inside and out. It has been washed a couple times so far and hasn't shrunk or changed in any way that I can see. Will update on durability in the future if necessary.

This is a great sweatshirt, just like the double thick zip down which I bought and used for a year before buying this one.The navy color is very nice.I'm 6'1" 182lbs with a very athletic taper. Wide shoulders and a true 32" waist and the upper body is perfect on my XL but of course the waist has a bit extra bulk, a bit more than the zip down has but I washed the zip down in hot water and dried it and it shrunk some to fit awesome. Be careful you don't shrink it too much though.A large would be too small for me, especially the arms as I have long arms. So XL it is.It's much better fitting than anything from carhartt. And way warmer and better built. Very heavy! In a good way

These are my favorite Sweatshirts to wear. The double thick 100% cotton shrinks a good deal after washing and drying with heat, so I ordered 4x and it shrunk to 2x and then it's the perfect oversized sweatshirt. Layer a tee shirt and a long sleeve shirt underneath, throw on a hat, scarf and gloves and get ready for a snowball fight. NO WINTER COAT NEEDED. Really keeps out the cold, and breathes well so no sweating if you go from outside to in and then back out. Don't ever lend it out.... You will NEVER see it again, and if you can manage to hold onto it, it will last for years with close to no wear. Most sweatshirts cuffs will split where they fold, not a chance with Arborwear gear. My hooded version is over 6 years old and aside from being faded from so many washes and sun exposure, it's still in perfect condition. As with all Arborwear garments, it's versatile, superbly made, an absolute must have along with it's hooded counterpart, whether your looking for function or style.

It's perfect for the cold weather... 14° today! I love the weight of it, can really feel the thickness of the material & feels durable like it will last. After 1 wash it shrunk a tinny tinny bit but perfect fit (considering I thought the size was possibly too big)... Just follow the instructions to wash & dry (of course). Also the inside material didnt get ruined after washing! which I find most sweatshirt's don't hold up even after one wash - get thin, less soft, fibers ball up. Not this one. In love with this sweatshirt!

I read all the reviews for this product from the hoodie to the full zip and the half zip. Bottom-line: So far I love this sweatshirt as I have been searching for a sweatshirt of this quality since I bought a Champion Reverse Weave double sweatshirt while stationed in Rochester, New York. For years I have been searching for the thickness and quality since I bought the Champion in the late 80's...needless to say I have not found it until now. I found thin sweatshirts that were little more than thickened t-shirts but not cheap.These are really nice and truly warm but I did not give it a five star as waiting to make sure their is no shrinkage after washing. UPDATE: Upon further review these are 5 Star as their had been no shrinkage. I live in Georgia but it still gets cold down here and I truly like the option of wearing layers to put on or off as needed. I personally chose the half zip as I have enough hoodies, like the full hand pockets and also have enough full zip down sweaters and sweats...I think all of similar qualities but would opinion it depends upon individual tastes.

I purchased this for my husband who wears a 2x comfortably. It was just a bit snug all around so we returned it for. 3x. The only difference in the size was the arm length. The rest of the sweatshirt fit the same as the 2x. It is too bad because it appears very well made and the thickness was incredible. Runs a bit small definitely not for someone with a belly.

Size and fit are true to size. Super warm and comfortable.
