This flag kit is so utterly fantastic! It is just as advertised. The metal pole is totally metal with no plastic at all. All pieces for assembly were included and all screw holes fit the screws. I just assembled the kit and flew it today. I wanted to make sure it really did not "furl" in a high wind so I stood and watched it for about four minutes . I allowed several strong windy gusts to take the flag over the pole and create the dreaded knot. It did not happen! How shocked I was, having had bad experiences with inferior items. The flag went over the pole and straight down to be completely waving again. Awesome! I must also note the high quality of the flag, which is 70% polyester and 30% cotton. The cotton adds body and gives the feel of light canvas. I live in the Gulf Coast area and experience terrible humidity most of the time. Sometimes in the past, even "color fast " flags have "bled". This time I lightly sprayed a little Scotch Guard on both sides. It probably wasn't needed, but it didn't hurt it and it did make me feel better. The packaging was also superb. Thank you so much for such a very high quality American product. You've made us proud.

Top quality kit! All items are constructed well and sturdy. The bracket is very sturdy and is easy to adjust the angle of the flag pole. Easy to mount bracket. The pole is lightweight but well-constructed with a swivel located where the two-piece pole easily screws together. The swivel allows for the flag end of the pole to remain in the proper alignment while flag being flown. The flag is beautiful, lightweight and is well-constructed. Flag has heavy-duty grommets that allow for the flag to be easily attached to the pole. Best of all - all components are MADE in the USA! I expect this flag to be proudly flying in front of my home for many years to come!

So far the flag pole has held up nicely. I gave it 4 stars because when I purchased it, I thought I was getting a thick nylon American flag with embroidered stars; however, the flag is very thin and not embroidered. That's my fault for not reading the description thoroughly! So time will tell on how long the flag will last, but hopefully the flag pole will out last everything. I was surprised and happy when I received the mount (again, my fault for not reading it thoroughly), because my old mount did not work with this pole. The mount is very sturdy and adjusts nicely. I love everything about this kit, other than the flag seems to be cheap, but time will tell! Next time I will read everything, and get the thick nylon flag from Grace Alley if this flag fades or rips!

Fed up with constantly having to unfurl my economy flag, I was estatic when my Grace Alley Spinning Flag Pole Kit arrived on my doorsteps! Taking it out of the box was like Christmas morning! Overall, I love the look and unfurling function of the flag pole. I've flown the flag for two days and have not had to unfurl the flag once. The pole seems sturdy and does what it promises. If I could only rate the pole, it gets five stars. The flag itself is a printed (non-embroidered) polyester/cotton blend lightweight flag made in the USA. I'm hoping it'll last at least a couple of years. I plan to install a solar flag light on the flag pole to present Old Glory 24/7. The only time I'll bring the flag in is when it rains. Four stars for the flag. The flag pole bracket also seems very robust and does a good job holding the flag pole in place. If I were to nitpick, I would wish that the tightening screw was all metal instead of half plastic. The bracket gets 4.5 stars. There are two issues that I would like to bring to the attention of Grace Alley. First of all, the included screws for mounting the flag pole bracket were very low quality. Every one of them stripped as I was trying to screw them into my wooden fence. I had to run to my local hardware store for some stronger, galvanized screws. Next, the plastic lower grommet flag clip is the weakest part of this otherwise great flag pole. Since it's made of the cheapest quality plastic, I don't expect it to last very long before I'll have to come to Amazon to look for replacement clips. By the way, Grace Alley doesn't sell these clips individually. If they break due to exposure to the elements, then I guess I'm out of luck! For the mounting accessories, I rate them only two stars. Since I paid over $40 for a flag pole kit, I expect better quality than something that I would find at Wal-Mart. In conclusion, I think that Grace Alley produced a decent product but fell short by cutting corners on the mounting screws and bottom grommet flag clip. Thank you for listening. UPDATE: My flag has been up since my initial review, and the flag has yet to get tangled up. I've installed a Hampton Bay solar flag light (available online at the Orange home improvement store) on the pole so the flag is showcased 24/7. It works great, and I'm proud of my flag. When the plastic lower grommet clip does get brittle and break, I will replace it with metal hose clamps.

The assembly was quick and easy. The mounting bracket is well made, and the flag itself is good quality. It was a windy day when I installed it, and did not have any issues. Updates one year later. Upon taking our flag down after Labor Day, we noticed some thread separation in the upper right corner. The flag and pole were put away for the season, and reinstalled spring 2019, with the thought of just keeping an eye on the stitching. After a month or so we noticed more wind damage and took down the flag. The good part. I e-mailed Grace Alley and described our situation knowing our warrantee had expired. I was informed that the purchased flag was not designed to be left out 24/7. To my surprise, the company advised that they would send a upgraded 3x5 flag that is designed to be displayed 24/7. Yesterday the new flag arrived and it is awesome. Its rare these days that a company will go the extra mile for its customers.

Very happy with the flag and the kit. it was easy to install, and you can set it at any angle. I have mine with the pole parallel to the ground, and the flag hanging. It seems to be getting wrapped up on the pole less this way. This replaced a flag I bought at Costco, and it seems to have a much sturdier mounting system for the flag itself. Update: After about a month the wall mount broke in strong winds. I called the company, and they sent me a new wall mount. It broke in 3 days. Mind you, we have very strong winds, but this is just not acceptable. it is made with thin, cheap pot metal, and just isn't strong enough.

Bought this to replace a poor quality, not-so-tangle-free flag pole from an online merchant. This seems to be a great product so far. The best feature is that the top half of the flag pole threads to the lower half and spins independently, A big improvement over other flag poles which only have cheap plastic spinning clips that break easily. This flag pole truly is tangle free. Another nice feature is the base allows you to adjust the angle, unlike most that are fixed. Only drawback is I could not find the flagpole in white with a silver top. Only option available was white with gold / brass top, Time will tell how durable it is, but I'm very satisfied with Grace Alley's features and initial quality, which were lacking on most of the other flag pole kits I looked at.

What a beautiful, quality flag and pole system, thank you Grace Alley! Is it the cheapest... no, but you have to pay for quality, and Made in America will, and should, cost more! Plus the 'Tangle Free' is just that. It is such a joy to go outside and not have to unwrap my flag from around its pole. A wonderful 'hassle-free' design that works as advertised. I highly recommend this product and company.
