Classic, canvas and woven stripe upper, elastic gore for easy fit, suede footbed, rope sole. with every pair of shoes you purchase, toms will give a new pair of shoes to a child in need. one for one TOMS Shoes was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie. The shoe is a unique slip-on design comprised of clean lines and lightweight fabrics in vibrant colors and prints. TOMS was founded when Blake was inspired on a trip to Argentina by the traditional, rope-soled Argentine "alpargata." He was struck by the poverty and health issues of the country, and set out to reinvent the alpargata for the U.S. market, and in doing so to accomplish one goal: Making life more comfortable for those without shoes. To realize this purpose, Blake made a commitment to match every pair of TOMS purchased with a donation of a pair to a child in need. It's simple: If you buy a pair of TOMS, the company will give a pair to someone in need on your behalf. During its first year in business, TOMS sold 10,000 pairs of shoes, and Blake returned to Argentina to lead his first annual Shoe Drop during which he donated to the children who had inspired him. TOMS Shoes are now available in multiple colors and fabric combinations for men, women and a recently introduced line for children, aptly titled Tiny TOMS.

Adorable and perfect fit
My daughter has a wider foot than normal, so it’s difficult to find shoes that are comfortable for her. These are both adorable and comfortable. They match with most of her outfits and she loves wearing them. Would recommend

TOMS vs. BOBS
I have never owned TOMS or BOBS in my life, but I thought both shoes were adorable and their missions noble, so I decided to buy both shoes and do a side by side comparison. (I also included side by side photos of the unboxing of each shoe in the hopes that it might be helpful to someone else!)First up, TOMS (they were $34.76 when purchased). They are completely authentic TOMS when purchased from the TOMS retailer (as opposed to a third party company) so no need to worry. They are made out of textile (cloth and woven fabrics) and have a synthetic sole. They also have a canvas top with an elastic bit for an easy slip on design and comfortable fit. The shoes are very lightweight and come in an awesome assortment of vibrant colors with adorable interior fabric prints (although I personally chose black again which had a very cute cream and black wild life pattern on the inside). The insole is made out of suede and feels very comfortable but not as supportive as I was hoping for. An additionally bonus is that with every pair of TOMS purchased, an additional pair is donated to a child in need which is super rad. I do like these shoes but part of me feels like you are paying for the name. But they are still a great price and when you think of the good they are doing by donating a second pair of shoes it's totally worth it.Next up, BOBS by Sketchers (they were on sale for $28.88 marked down from $42.00 when purchased). They are made out of a canvas fabric and have rubber sole. They slide on easily and comfortably because of the stretchy goring wedge at the top of the shoe. The footbed is made out of memory foam and they have a shock absorbing low profile midsole which is great for those who find themselves on their feet longer. In addition they have an "arch pillow" that provides exceptional support. They also come in a beautiful assortment of colors, both vibrant, natural and pastel which I love! Even the interior of these shoes is adorable (for the comparison I opted for black which have the cutest black and grey cheetah pattern!). The bonus of buying BOBS is that they are currently running a promotion in which 25¢ from each purchase will be donated to the Petco Foundation to help save the lives of dogs and cats in America’s shelters. I am extremely pleased with these shoes so far!Although I really do like and recommend both shoes, I'd have to say that I personally like the BOBS more. In spite of the fact that both shoes look nearly identical, I do tend to side with the all black look that the BOBS have (although I recently found out that you can purchase that style in TOMS too! 😊). I also enjoy the fact that you have the option of choosing a wide fit (which I usually wear) in BOBS while TOMS unfortunately does not offer a wide option, they simply recommend buying a size up if you have wider feet. In addition, I really liked the memory foam footbed and the "arch pillow" in the BOBS because I'm on my feet all day chasing miniature humans and if I don't have proper support, my knees and hips will yell at me 😂. I still recommend both products but again, I did like personally liked the BOBS more.

Smaller than other Tom’s I have purchased
I have several other pairs of Tom’s which fit fine. This purchase was in my usual size, an 8, but very tight. I contacted the seller about returning for a replacement but all they could do was a refund. I kept them and hope they will loosen up, but we’ll see.

Wrong shoes arrived
I ordered the style with black soles that are a softer and better for being on my feet all day. I received a pair with a harder, less flexible, white sole.Still a good pair of shoes, just not what I was looking for in work shoes when I'm on my feet all day.

Beware big feet!
Love Tom’s, always have. But I do have big feet and after wearing them out once, I realized I may have chosen the wrong color. I went with Red, but due to having big feet, I felt like a clown! I felt like my feet looked laughably long in red shoes. Now I know!

and they felt like they were cutting into my feet
I’ve never owned Toms before. When I first purchased them, I really regretted it - they were so tight that I had a fight to get them on, and they felt like they were cutting into my feet. I nearly returned them.A quick google, however, suggested keeping them on for an hour. And in that space of an hour, a miracle occurred - they fit beautifully. Very, very comfortable - I had two days walking around London all day in them, non-stop. No rubbing, no pain.Brilliant.

wear them with socks for a short while for a perfect fit.
I love these shoes. Knowing that Toms are a small fit, I ordered 6.5 instead of a 6. When they arrived they looked tiny. I squeezed my feet into them and tried wearing them around the house for a bit. They bit into my heels and started to hurt. I put a pair of medium thick socks on and literally forced my feet into them and wore them like that for around 1/2 an hour. I then took my socks off and the shoes fit perfectly. They are now super comfy and I love them.TLDR - wear socks with them for 1/2 hour and they will then fit perfectly.

Do not order this shoe. The sizes are compleately wrong and the fabric is too rough.
Very poor quality service. I ordered a size 4.5 even if I am size 4 and when I got the shoe they been far too small and narrow. I requested to return them, but the seller is asking me to pay the postage. I found it very unfair as I consider it is not my fault that the seller advertise wrong sizes. Also the quality of the shoe it is not great. Very rough comparing with the other ones that I bought before from a different seller. Not recommanded.

Very comfy shoes especially for summer
Bought these as I needed summer shoes as my toes are too gnarly for public display lolThey are true to size I’m a size 7 standard width and they fit with no need to wear in or stretch. They are a lightweight canvas shoe, I wouldn’t wear them on a wet day but for long days out they are very comfortable. Only issue I had with them is driving, I noticed my toes going a bit numb from using the pedals while wearing these, but that’s only because the soles a very soft and spongy, other than that they are a great buy especially for summer and the dry months.

Perfect comfortable everyday casual shoes.
Absolutely love Toms! Very confortable for walking and everyday casual shoes.Easy slip on’s to match with jeans, dresses, shorts. I specifically love the ortholite soles.I am usually a UK5. I would suggest to take a 5.5 as they are slightly tight around the bridge of my foot but not uncomfortably tight. I have always loved the charity that Toms supports. For every pair of shoes you buy a pair is donated to underprivaleged.
