These Shabbat candles are a joy to use. In an effort to use non-petroleum based candles which pollute rather than sanctify the Sabbath I have tried other types of candles. I love beeswax but they are expensive and messy. I thoroughly researched alternatives and found these GoodLight candles to be the best option.
