Boom- Not since 1995's critically acclaimed "Babe" have I seen such an adorable pig. The eyes are soothing, like a warm spring eve or a gentle wind.-You want practicality? Boom- This thing has loads of form AND functionality. I can store not only nickels and pennies in it, but (stay with me folks) also quarters, dimes and half-dollars. One day I may dare to put paper money in here.-You want an interesting conversation starter? Boom- Whip this thing out at your next social gathering and watch jaws drop, eyebrows raise, and hearts flutter. None can resist its charm. None, I say.Still not convinced? Very well. Kids love it! Not only is it a good way to introduce the concept of capitalism and saving to young minds, but it's a great way to begin teaching them how to take care of something before delving into the world of pets.I don't know what else to say about this charming piggy bank other than this: Get one for yourself. Put it in your home, office, yurt, tree house, submarine or any space that can use some brightening up that also requires loose change storage.You don't even have to store anything in it if you don't want to, though, that's your decision entirely. Great design, the best one I have seen anywhere. But pink color is much more vibrant and way too pink than in shows in the picture. I give the advertised picture a 5 star and the actual product a 2 to 3 star. Disappointed with color. And it was expensive not to be right.

First off: this is just the cutest piggy bank ever. It's adorable and feels sturdy. The $$ access hole cover on the underside is easy to open and close. However, the plastic cover is glued into the hole and mine had tons of hot glue strands hanging from it like hair. There were glue strands all over the eyes as well. They pulled off easily, but if this is a gift for a child, check for this before gifting. Also, mine has a spot on its back that looks like a glob of hot glue fell on it which was only partially cleaned off. Still, it's a piggy bank and does what it's supposed to do. :)

It's a pig-shaped object you can put coins in with hole in the bottom for simpler removal. One might have to gently shake the pig to get all the coins out, but I didn't expect anything other than that. It's not a simple box or dome shape. It's a pig. I don't plan on carrying the thing around. It's going to sit on a shelf. I'm not too concerned about durability, but it feels tough enough to me. It's also very cute to look at. It's sticking out its tongue and its head is at a slight angle! So darling!!

I love the cuteness of the piggy bank and the reason I bought it was for my kitchen, so that we would put all of our loose change into it for a rainy day. The thing I didn’t like about the piggy bank is that the color as advertised, was a antique looking pink color that would have matched the theme of the kitchen. When I received it, it was a bright pink with no antique look. Disappointed with the color. Otherwise, it’s doing it’s job.

This was a Christmas gift for my son, so he's only had it a little over a week. He hasn't been hard on it but would just carry it around like a real animal. He didn't play with it much. I just found that the ear has broken off and that there is a crack along the back leg. I let him play with it because of the description, saying it is durable and can handle some knocks and bumps. As far as I know, it was never dropped. It is super cute, so if it doesn't need to be durable, it may be a good choice...just not for us. Update: The seller was easy to work with and they were quick to make it right.

I got these for my grandchildren and they love them! These are not toys but so far have held up well with a 2 and 3 year old. They are a good size but I wish they came in bigger size options. I would definitely purchase them again when these get filled up!

I think it put my 3 year old grandchild off because it wasn't a standard piggy bank. I was raised on a farm and liked the uniqueness of it. My son says it is weird. It's staying here so each time she comes there is more money to put in it. She did ask how to get the money out. Smart kid.
