Bandai Tamashii Nations Perfect Cell S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball Z

I started casually collected started collecting DC related figures a couple a years ago. I found that the DC Universe Classics suited my needs best because they had the best articulation , sculpt, and scale. However, the one thing that held me back from collecting so many was the high prices of $17-20. Because of this, I've only purchased figures when they were on sale or loose, paying around $14 each (Unless it's Batman related, Justice League, or Teen Titans, then I pay retail or above retail price). Even at those lower prices, I still hesitate on buying them because of the lack of space and just the idea of not wanting to accumulate more "stuff". I prefaced with that, hoping it would help articulate my enthusiasm for this figure and maybe intrigue those who have a similar mindset when purchasing collectibles. All those previous qualms I had with collecting, don't apply with this figure and hopefully this entire line! Although it costs around $50, I don't feel it any regrets with my purchase! You get what you pay for. Although it has a great sculpt and wonderful paint apps, the articulation is where it's at. Whenever I buy figures, I like having articulation because I intend to put them in various poses with my other figures to create an interesting display. However, that doesn't pan out. I just put them on my shelf in a specific pose and that's where they remain. I've had the Figuarts Cell for about a month now and it hasn't gone on my shelf yet. I keep right next to me with my computer and I'm changing the poses all the time. I never understood why people spend so much money on eBay to get higher articulated figures and now I know, it's really cool! It even puts my Marvel Legends to shame! I always liked Marvel Legends for their great articulation, but for a lot of figures it makes the sculpt look real weird and a lot of times the joints didn't work right. With DC Universe Classics, the sculpts looked much better with the articulation, but you couldn't get it in as many poses. DC Direct has the best sculpts, but really suffered articulation wise. Of those figure lines, I collect, I like this line the best! I've had this particular figure for over a month now and I still consider it the best figure in my collection. The coloring and layering of paint on Cell is amazing. The pictures don't do the figure justice. Articulation wise it's pretty fantastic. Of the figures I own over the years, I've either put them in one or two different positions. Within a month, I've put Cell in at least 10 different positions, and now that I've bought a figure stand, that number is only going to increase! I never understood why people spend so much money on custom figures on eBay for increased articulation and I'm starting to understand why. Although, I really like the sculpt, I wish it was more accurate to the anime. Cell always looked really muscular to me in the series, and even though it's a great sculpt, it's not bulky enough to me. However, after looking at the figure more, I think the large eyes are making the proportions seem off. They take up a large portion of the head sculpt making everything seem smaller. Having said this, the pictures on Amazon reflect this, so that's why I'm not knocking the figure for it. It's like buying the new silver colored Batman figure, and being disappointed that it's not gray like the comics. It would be foolish. So don't expect otherwise! The only complaint I have is I wish the head could tile upwards more and wouldn't fall off so easy.This is my first Amazon review, and the fact that this figure was finally what moved me to write one, complements the figure further! I highly recommend picking up Cell!

Bad jokes aside, this is probably my favorite Figuarts. Hands down. He is also the most expensive, but from what I've seen it's well worth the price.First and foremost, the articulation is spectacular. Everything from his toes to his wings to his head all have high degrees of articulation, and a huge variety of poses can be pulled off because of this. It comes with a lot of faces, hands, and the coolest accessory of all, a Kamehameha blast piece.Most figuarts hover around the 34 dollar range, before shipping, so many people will hesitate in purchasing this guy. Given that Trunks was setting at 35 dollars when I got Cell, I'll admit that Trunks would be a better purchase and use of your money. However, if you need to get a DBZ figuarts piece and already have Trunks, or just don't like him, then Cell would be your best bet.He might be pricey, but Perfection doesn't come cheap. This figure is well worth the investment.

I am impressed with this figure, he comes with 3 sets of hands and his fists, and 3 faces, as well as a crossed arms attachment. The articulation is great, his chest and stomach have flexibility, and it is very easy to pose. The paint detail is amazing, and the overall quality of the figure is very good. The Kamehameha he comes with is a little difficult to pose with his hands, but other than that it works great. I'm happy I bought this figure also because the SS Goku figure does not come with a Kamehameha, so now I get to use Cell's for him.10/10, the only complaint I have is what a pain removing his arms are.

The first villain to make the cut in the S.H. Figuarts DBZ line is Cell in his final/"perfect" form. While I personally would have chosen either Frieza or Broly as the first villain, Cell is also a worthy adversary for the Z Warrior figures to battle.Articulation is exactly what you'd expect of the Figuarts line - it is superb. The only limit in articulation I have seen are at the ankles where he is unable to point his toes downward. It should be noted that on my figure - not sure if this is every Cell or just mine - his torso is noticeably "looser" than any other Figuarts I have. It's not to a negative degree, but like I said, it's definitely there.The colors on the figure are great. They went with more "muted" shades of greens and purples, but they're still very nice. The black is deep and glossy which is exactly what you'd want on Cell to look like insect-esque exoskeleton armor.The figure comes with a bunch of hand sets and 3 different faces as well. It also comes with the series' first effect part - the kamehameha wave with ground base. The base itself is really cool, the ground is clearly being destroyed by the force of the kamehameha as bursts of energy blast out and upward on the sides. The kamehameha wave itself, however...well, it's serviceable I guess. It is actually more solid and weighty than I thought it would be, and the colors are nice enough. However, the problem is that it basically looks like a sex toy. I get what they were going for, because really when you watch the show at that time, depending on the art director, the kamehameha wave did look like it does in this figure, I just wish they had gone in a different direction with it.Having said all of that, the fact remains that this figure is really great. If you are a fan of the Cell saga or the character Cell, then this figure is an obvious choice. If you're on the fence, I will say that I picked it up despite not having particularly strong feelings about Cell one way or another, but I am not at all disappointed with it.

No sé ni a qué precio estará esta figura ahora,en su momento ya era cara, la adquirí hace casi 10 años si no me equivoco. En todo caso debo decir que tiene un nivel de articulación tremendo y una fidelidad al personaje fantástica, como la mayoría de figuras de SH Figuarts.

すべてに置いてパーフェクト。セルの持ち味をよく理解してる人が監修したのでしょうもはや非の打ち所がありません。数あるセルフィギュアでも文句なしに一強と言っていいデザイン性です。

hab sehr lange überlegt mir diese figur für ca 95 euro zuzulegenaber ich bin froh mich am ende doch für diese figur entschieden zu haben ^^nach piccolo, goku und krelin ist diese nun meine vorerst letzte figur (muss wieder sparen hehe)sie ist ihr geld wert. versand ging über amazon,die figur kam auch schon am 2. werktagdie figur ist bis jetzt die beste in meiner sammlung.wunderschön anzusehenarme und beine sind natürlich vielseitig beweglich.sie kommt mit 3 gesichtern und 4 paar händenauch das kamehame ha mit stativ ist dabei(für knapp 100 euro auch selbstverständlich :-D )die einzige klitze kleine kleinigkeit wo man sich beschweren könnte wäre,dass man cell vielleicht ca 2 cm hätte größer machen können,da piccolo ein tick größer erscheint, wenn man sich an den augen orientiertaber trotzdem top 5 sterne ^^
