Emliviar Pier Mount Base, Cast Aluminum 3" Pier Mount Adapter in Black Finish, 20069 BK

These are good quality and literally identical to the Darkaway brand post mounts. Only difference is the Emeliaver has better packaging. They come with a ground wire pigtail already attached which is nice and some long screws for mounting. IMPORTANT: They are not rated to hold an entire light pole up! They are only for mounting light fixture on a post, rail, pier, etc. I didn’t closely compare to the mounts stocked at Lowes or Home Depot but they the seem same overall quality.

Too thin of metal

Nicely made well packaged. Come with long screws and hollow anchors.

Very sturdy and came with nice heavy duty screws but... it does NOT fit over a 6x6 (true 5.5x5.5) so it's hard to get it perfectly lined up on top of the post. I even ordered a replacement thinking it was a dud... but nope, doesn't fit. If it fit it would get 5 stars.

Worth the price. It was actually cheaper in Lowes. However, we had the convenience of getting it early from Amazon.

The base is fine. It's a little thin and I am somewhat concerned about it's sturdiness. Other than that, it's fine.

Although the item was well made and as pictured would have served my purpose, it did not fit the standard 3 inch diameter light pole - the diameter of the center hole of the mount was exactly the same as the diameter or the pole. I believe I read in the item description that it would fit that size of pole. If you need only to affix a lamp to it, it would be fine.

Looks the same as pic. Not sure if it’s waterproof we will see. It’s 5.5x5.5 inches pretty large, I was surprised. So the cuts on the wood had to be made differently. You can also place them on 6x6 wood posts and they will fit perfectly.

Built a post outside and lantern look a little small. Bought this bottom piece, attached lantern and voila. Beautiful.

Fit well.
