I really like these. They are easy to fit, cheap to run and give a good light. I've used one on my front door to illuminate the door lock on dark nights and have recently bought others to light the path to my door. The lights are motion-sensitive so are not on all the time and therefore batteries last a good while.

Bought another two of these. They are brilliant we put two in our bathrooms and they are perfect for quick visits during the night. The light is bright enough to see what you are doing without waking you up too much. We just used a gorilla type tape to put them up too. Saves drilling holes and they are quite lightweight. We are putting the two new ones in our coat and shoe cupboards.

I bought 3 units to cover 3 different zones. I found it easy to fit the batteries and to fix to surfaces where I needed them. The ball shaped lamp unit fits well into its housing and can be rotated to the angle needed to cover the zone required. I have noticed on reviews on these lamps that a couple of folk have said their lamps did not work. I did find that on 2 of my units the 3 position switch was not easy to switch to `Auto`. It was as if the switch could not move further to `click` into position. I remedied this by using a small straight blade hobby screwdriver to push the switch into its proper location. I suggest to all folk that these are good lamps and do work. The lamps will remain lit only while movement is still detected and switch off very quickly when movement stops, this helps prolong battery life. I strongly recommend that these and similar types of lamps are sheltered in some way from wet weather because I don`t consider them 100% waterproof. I don`t yet know how long the batteries may last, that will depend on the amount of usage and the air temperature ( cold weather reduces battery efficiency/power).

It may look cheap and plastiky but it's not; it's really sturdy and well made. It gives a really bright light for about 30 seconds and I've now purchased two of these and I'm very pleased with them. The PIR works very well and it runs off 3 AAA batteries (not supplied), screws and rawplugs are included and for the price it's well worth the value. Both came within the stated arrival time.

I bought this light to go in my kitchen as the light switch is on the opposite wall to the back door meaning that when I get home at night I have to cross the room in the dark which is not ideal. The PIR sensor picks up my movement quickly as I come into the room and the light is very bright. No more tripping over the cat who will insist on sitting just inside the doorway waiting for me to return home. The light direction is adjustable in an up/down direction which is handy so that the light beam doesn’t go straight into your eyes when walking towards it in a darkened room. The light is a neat size and lightweight so I will be taking it on holiday with me as it won’t take up much space in my suitcase.
