Well worth the money! awesome
Love the book! Would have liked a little more contextual info on the theorist. It's good as long as you have experience in the topic.

Sounded great, turned into a disappointment...
For one of my classes I needed this book. I've already used other books previously so I thought I knew what I was getting into.Apparently not.The book reads as if someone sat with a thesaurus next to them and only used the most difficult words to sound smart. Even a theory like feminism became a confusing mess while reading the book, it stopped making sense because it was simply a mush of needlessly "high brow" words.I'd advise to get Beginning Theory: An Introduction to Literary and Cultural Theory by Peter Barry if you want a good overview of all the theories in a way that is at least readable.
