Surprised it was metal handle, vs wood; I guess I did not read carefully.So it feels heavier to me, that could turn out to be good or bad. And I wonder about rust but it feels nicely coated.The handle comes in 3 metal pieces but it "IS" sturdy, solid, once together; but I wonder with use if it will need retightening, (not sure, it could stay put as the connections have rubber).I had a problem getting the handle onto the dust pan.I have arthritis in my hands, but I took time and walked the handle; meaning push one side like 1/8 inch on, then the same on the other side of then handle, and kept doing that.I did not get it TOTALLY seated but enough. Dust pan snaps nicely tight to the metal handle.I wanted a broom on each floor level, and one old one dedicated to sweeping up cat litter in the cat's room, so I needed this new one.It feels like a nice..., sold..., broom; unlike my light weight cheap ones. I never owned a metal handle broom before.If above is of use, thumbs up pls.

I needed a broom for indoor use and this was seemed to .be a reasonably priced answer for our needs. Overall, I like the product. It shipped quickly, was packaged well and was easy to assemble (so bizarre to have to assemble a broom, but handle needs to put together as it's shortened to make shipping easier).So, it's a broom and it works...comes with a dust pan that snaps onto the handle (so it's there when you need it) and that makes it a convenient package right? Yes, but it could have been done better.The broom has a combo of stiff and softer bristles and it has a wedge shape that should allow you to get into corners and under/around crevices. The shape is fine, but the stiff bristles are really too stiff for indoor use and the softer bristles are not quite soft enough...plus the bristles catch hair and other objects and hold them, which means you need to clean the bristles off every once in a while or they just drop stuff when they are supposed to be moving them into a pile.I like having the dust pan snap onto the broom handle, but it would have been nice if they actually had designed the pan to fit over the broom head itself...it doesn't. When the pan is snapped onto the handle it doesn't fit over or around the broomhead...not a big deal, but it bends some of the bristles which ultimately might be an issue.Overall, a decent product which works well enough but with a little thought could have been made much better. Having to clean the bristles off after every use is a bit annoying. Having bristles that are too stiff means having to use a few more strokes to clean what should be able to be done on a smooth indoor floor with one or two strokes. Having the pan is helpful, but it would be nicer if it lay flatter on the floor when sweeping into it (having stiffer bristles makes getting the dirt into the pan more difficult too) and that it doesn't fit over the broom is just annoying. Still, it works...though I think this would be a perfect unit for the garage or porch where the bristle texture would work better and you'd be working with larger particles.

I bought this broom back in August of 2020 and it eventually broke in January of 2023. It broke where the two handles connect; it was not fixable, so I had to throw it out. I used the broom mainly indoors, but I did use it to sweep off snow on my patio outside a couple of times. I think the heavy snow caused it to break. It would have lasted longer if I used it for indoors only. Overall, it serviced its purpose and was a great broom. Rip broomy. Aug 2020- Jan 2023 ❤️

The broom had a slanted shape and I liked the light weight of it but after using it for a while it bent and then it broke in half. I wish I could return for a replacement?

I’ve never had to assemble a broom before so I thought that idea was cool; I will say that the way the broom was designed doesn’t match the dustpans level so it throws me off. The dustpan itself could’ve been designed better-it collects the trash but leaves remains.

Bought this set about 2 years ago. Has been a good broom until about a few months ago when the metal around the prongs that keep the segments together started to split causing my to cut my hand and break. I’m still repurchasing though.

The broom itself is fine: easy to put together, fairly sturdy, it’s fine. But the bristles are shorter than I expected and they are ‘softer.’ I realize I wasn’t getting an old birch broom with hard bristles but I expected them to be more rigid than they are. This broom is great but would be perfect with either denser or stiffer bristles.

This is not sturdy at all - and since the pole comes in pieces they all twist around as you sweep.
