Jeremiah has a wonderful book here from some of us who have already become set apart to the Lord with our lives in every way. He urges the people of God to look to the King and make themselves ready as the Bride. Many in the church consider themselves the bride of Christ, but you cannot be the bride until you have been servant, then a friend, then a son, and then you become a bride. This message is for the people of God, who want to be exclusively the passion of the Bridegroom King. Jeremiah writes a compelling book.In twenty or more of my books, the Holy Spirit led me to quote two key verses that are in the Bible. This self same Holy Spirit had Jeremiah also bring these two passages to light as key passages that we need to obey as the bride of Christ. If these passages convict you, you need to make fast changes to your life. They are:1 John 2:15-17 New Living Translation (NLT)15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.The people of the church are being taught that you can have all he very best of the world, and still be right with God. John says that this sort of life is anti-God.The second passage is:James 4:4 New King James Version (NKJV)4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.You may want to skirt around the issue, but you might want to ask yourself, how many of God's enemies is he going let into heaven?Many people view consecration and holiness as having a life free of sin. That is only part of it. For a teaching I did recently, the Lord gave me the title “The Consequences of Consecration” in my study and research I found the powerful book! Truly it is the message for the Church of this generation! The challenge to consecrate is the clarion call of the day.

This book is so needed in this current day and age when so much of the Church looks so much like the world.There are very hard hitting truths in this book for everyone. We have no higher calling than to be consecrated for Jesus. God is raising up people to confront this very issue as well.Jeremiah Johnson writes from a very humble position and you can tell that from the very opening of the book. In the process lays out truth based on the word of God. Laying upon layer upon layer. He lays out what true repentance looks like at that we have a huge part to play, in fact a responsibility. That Jesus requires not only the bad, the sin but even the good things in our lives from us. We must realize we are spiritually bankrupt without Jesus.It is time for those who consider themselves to be Christians to be the Bride of Christ. To set themselves apart for Jesus without reservation. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. No matter what station you may consider yourself, no matter what level of maturity you think of yourself. Even if you have been a Senior Pastor for many years. This is a book for the entire body.

Jeremiah Johnson has heard a “word” from the Lord, and has delivered it clearly in the book! The “true” church will be that Bride and will be prepared! All others will be left behind!

Well written and informative as to the reason the Bride must be consecrated to Jesus. These last of the last days will need a consecrated Bride to look to for guidance .

There is so much enlightenment in this book. It is great! We are studying it as a Wednesday night class together at Church. This book when studied and broken down so that you really take it in and understand it takes your relationship with God up so many levels!! It's just so refreshing and wonderful to worship God like we are truly meant to worship him and how we are supposed to be living our lives like. We are supposed to be striving everyday to be and live like Jesus Christ did.

Amazing revelation about the Consecrated Bride and the Harlot bride. This book is critical for this time and hour in which we are living!

So many in the church today have lost the meaning of consecration. It is evident in some modern worship, in some lifestyle sermons, it seems to be all about me. In his book, Jeremiah reminds us of our need of God, our need for humility and the mostly forgotten idea of being holy and set apart. I highly recommend it as it will challenge and correct your thinking, focus you again on the need to make ourselves ready for the bridegroom who is coming soon. It is an urgent call for us to be a glorious and spotless bride for Jesus!
