Six stars! Best book. Read it.
I loved this book! Best book I have read in at least 2 years, and I am always reading. As a paranoid person myself, everything about this book fed my paranoia and became believable. Like our heroes Maggie and Eddy, I do not trust the government to do the right thing. Like Maggie, I too have worked as a computer contractor for a big software company whose business I personally could care nothing about, killing myself just for a paycheck. This was really my kind of book.First person narration added to the immediacy of the action and the intensity of the emotions. Here is where I personally diverge from the narrative: if the bad guys were chasing me, I would not be clever enough or imaginative to think of ways to hide in plain sight. If you believe government conspiracies are possible, you should read this great book. Just in case...

Well written and a terrific story,
I enjoyed this book. The characters were like able and relatable and it was an interesting take on all the virus novels I’ve read.

The Virus
This is an excellent book. Entirely plausible. Fully developed characters, believable and sympathetic. Clear and riveting plot. I loved it. It was deeply unsettling. So...yeah, I believe right now, this minute that the US government is that malevolent. In reality. So this book is almost like a blueprint for the construction of a totally controlling technological totalitarian state. More harm has been done by the obedient, than has ever been done by the rebellious. Thanks.

Fun Ride
Impossible or a preview of what is coming. And if it happened, who could stop it? Well written and thoroughly enjoyable.

A great suspense story worth reading!
Maggie and Eddie are just two ordinary people who inadvertently get caught up in a governmental 'big brother' operation. Their journey to find out the truth and expose it leads them on a whirlwind cat and mouse game with the DHS (Dept. of Homeland Security). There is plenty of suspense and intrigue as you try to figure out who betrayed them and I actually didn't see it until the end. It's a hard book to put the down, so keep that in mind when you pick it up, but if you love thrillers with a little govt conspiracy thrown in, you're definitely going to want to read this one. I highly, highy recommend it.And now I have to admit I feel a little creeped out thinking about all the ways the govt is tracking me! Thanks for that, Ms. Diller! :)

WARNING: Once you start reading you can't stop!
I picked up Virus to read on cross continental flight and it was the right pick because the suspense and excitement helped me burn through six hours of flying time. Once Maggie goes to visit Sanjeev and the action begins, I simply couldn't put it down. Every chapter had a hook to the next, the twists unexpected and the sweet love story a tribute to mature love. The conversational tone and metaphors were lovely. Excellent writing. Eddy and Maggie's relationship was my favorite part. What devotion they share, along with a large vocabulary of love languages. It was a smart and accessible story, written in a relateable tone. If you want a story that will make you think while captivating your senses, then pick up Virus. You wont regret it!

AN ANTI VAXER'S WORST NIGHTMARE. CURRENT. EXPLOSIVE.
This book is right out of today's headlines. The modern electronics age at its worst . Not just another dystopian book.Every conspiracy theorists worst nightmare. Wake up sheep. This could be all of us tomorrow. Politics, control and loss of personal freedom at its worst.Well done Janelle.

If you haven't read this book yet, YOU NEED TO!!
This is truly the best book that I have read in a long time! It was hard to put down, I just wanted to keep reading all the time. And when I wasn't reading, I found myself thinking about all the different possible scenarios that could happen to the characters. Truly captivating! The book is exciting, scary, funny, suspenseful, complex and full of surprises. The characters are relatable and the story well thought out and very plausible especially with all the post 9/11 safety measures now deemed necessary by homeland security. Extremely well written, I Highly Recommend and look forward to reading future books from this very talented author. She has also written several children's books that I enjoy reading to my granddaughter.

What a great read.
This is a well written, articulate and gripping page-turner. It's one of those books that makes you want to stay put and keep on reading - right down to the end. It was a perfect holiday book, as you can get so involved in it. I loaned it to the friend I was on the beach with, and we barely had any more conversation until she, too, had finished it - except for the occasional times that she raised her head and said "She is a REALLY good writer!". Buy it. Read it. Enjoy it. and be prepared to have a good long think about 'big brother' when you've finished.
