I have already given this book away once; I have no doubt that I shall do so again.

It's one of the best books I have read about parenting. I recommend it to everyone who desires to leave a worthwhile legacy for his or her children

I first heard Dr. Dobson on the radio in the late 70's. As the young father of a son and daughter I needed help and help is what I received. I used the wisdom Dr. Dobson shared and now as the grandfather of two boys I can bare witness to the wisdom and truth shared in this book. There is no greater challenge and no greater joy than seeing the impact of modeling a life lived for Christ carried out in your children and grandchildren. Regardless of where you are on your journey, the principles and truths of this book will help you cast a long shadow for Christ.

In typical James Dobson fashion, this book is well worth reading. Dobson's main point is that when our life is done, will we have done anything work having lived for and the most important thing we can do is to make sure that our children and their families know and love God. If our family members do not know Christ as their Savior, we will not be with them in eternity. We must make the eternity of our families our greatest Legacy.

I enjoyed this book as a parent, grandparent and great-grandparent.Some of the stories could have been condensed for better effect, with the exception of his parent's story. It was touching.His conclusions and advice should have been given more space. Some of the conclusions left me in the dark. Much too general.I applaud Dr. Dobson's legacy to our nation as well as to his family.

A wonderful book that tells the background of Dr. Dobson. It also tells how, we, as parents, affect our children be it positive ornegative. I would hope that every American would read this book. Alas, that will probably not happen. Our nation is in disarrayand we need to focus on the fundamental truths that helped make our nation great. We have somehow lost our way.

It was a book that challenged my thinking and moved me to be more proactive in building a spiritual legacy for my family to see and hopefully follow.

Great book by a very fine author.

Dr Dobson has done it again. I have always enjoyed his writing and this book did not disappoint.
