Totally satisfied
don't listen to the naysayer who said this fell apart and it was too skinny. I am a plant lover and much prefer real over artificial, but the front of my house faces the west and it is nearly impossible to have potted plants in front. I got these and was wowed by the lifelike quality. They are not silk but totally plastic. When you take them out of the box, yes they are skinny. They do that so they can ship in the narrowest box. You have to gently work with them after unboxing. Yes I did have a couple little fronds come off, but big deal. I just found the little stub it came off of and pushed it back on. You have to gently push down each branch all around the tree. I gently fanned out each branch and as you do that, it takes on a fuller, life like appearance. It took me about 20 minutes to push down and "fluff" out the branches, but it was time well spent. I love these and am amazed at the appearance. These are exactly what I was hoping for. Really good quality for the price. Ahhh, now I can have awesome looking trees in my planters out front that will survive these hot Midwest summers and brutal winters. No more watering!!!

Sure Look Real to Me
I purchased these trees because of reader reviews and I'm sure glad I did. They arrived right on time, securely wrapped and easy to removed from the box. Just like a faux Christmas tree, they come with branches in the "up" position. It took me all of 5 minutes to fluff them out. I really like the variation in color, which adds a "real" look to them. I purchased two over-sized pots, filled the bottom with sand and Miracle Grow on the top, as I am planning to add flowers around the outside, which will add to the authenticity. I'm hoping the customer reviews from the Midwest are accurate, because I plan to leave them out year round - I might even put lights on them for Xmas. I'll let you know.7/1/15 - Update on National Tree Arborvitae trees. Still look great - had TONS of rain, but they took it. Here's updated photo - once you mix in some real plants, no one can tell.

Don't worry, just buy it.
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely in love with these trees. First time buying outdoor artificial so I was nervous, but these did not disappoint. In a place that I hardly ever water I decided to switch to artificial and I don't regret it. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. I love how real they look and almost feel real as well. I love the light tips on the leaves that give it more dimension and natural look to the trees. Planted them with real dirt to hold it in and the trees do have a small pot with a little bit of weight to keep it from wobbling. Added some artificial flowers around the trees too and whala! Got beautiful planters. :)

Soooo disappointed!
The 36" tree I received looks nothing like all the review pictures. I spent at least 30 mins adjusting the branches but the problem is there are not enough of them to hide the "trunk". This is a "Charlie Brown" tree. Would not give it any stars if that was an option.Definitely returning it.

Just received and am very pleased with purchase
The reviews were spot on! Just received and am very pleased with purchase...it looks real. I fluffed it a little, and put it in a large brown pot with mulch. I think It looks perfect on my little porch. It would be at least 6 " taller if I used more bricks in large pot to raise plant...for my porch, I like it at this height. I would purchase again and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you.

Not a long lasting product for the money. . .no warranty.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these trees for use in pots that I have on the side of the garage door. I wanted something that was weather resistant and would last for a lot of years. I relied on the published product description to ensure that I purchased something that would meet this need. Initially the trees looked great and really did the intended job of adding a visual interest to my garage area. About a year and a half into the purchase the color of the trees began to wash out and fade. A few months later I noticed that if you touched the trees or bumped them the tips and branches would crumble or deteriorate.I used the product support link and contacted customer service to explain my situation. I was asked to send pictures and even sent a video that I have included above to better explain the situation that I was having. I received a response that didn't quite make sense to me. . .It may have been to cold, not enough moisture. Many apologies, these trees are not warrantied.I thought that they were okay for outdoor use and did I need to water a plastic plant? I live in a very moderate climate so what are the temperature parameters? These were never outlined for me as the buyer. The price is way too much to spend on a product that has a limited lifespan.

Great looking faux shrub!
I love this little arborvitae! Not sure it’ll fool anyone from close up, but from a distance it looks real. I have an entryway that doesn’t get enough sun to sustain plant life, so this is a great substitute. For those that wrote negative reviews, I’m guessing they were trying to bend the branches out so it resembled a pine or spruce tree. That is not the growth habit of an arborvitae - they grow with branches close to the trunk. For this reason, minimal fluffing should be done to the branches. I’ve attached pictures of how I buried the attached pot into a larger one and then topped it with potting soil.

Stunning Alternative Cedar Trees
I was looking to purchase four Nearly Natural 3'H Cedar Trees to complete my Mediterranean/Asian-inspired courtyard walkways. As their prices had almost doubled in the past couple of years (for a good quality product), I crossed my fingers and hoped that the National Tree brand would 'blend in.' I was extremely pleased with the results!! Time will tell to see how long these National Trees will survive the temperature and wind extremes experienced in the South Okanagan.

Looks very realistic
Looks realistic from a few feet back, it will definitely fit my need for a cedar tree that can't be killed by lack of watering!
