Great product and awesome price.
The HOLOSUN 510C was professionally packaged. Came with an extra battery holder, tools and three batteries. Put it on in two seconds flat. Super simple controls and adjustments. I flipped up my iron sites and with a few clicks with the included tool I set the co-witness recticle to the front site before even going out. Dead on first shot. 800 rounds later and still on target. Very impressed with the shake-awake feature and the auto brightness function. Only downfall with the auto brightness function is if you are in the shade and the target is in bright sun, the recticle dims to where you are. (under a roof at the open range.) Just switch to manual and you will be fine. Overall I give it 9.5 out of 10. I am going to get a HOLOSUN for my 45 pistol next.

Always ready to go...
The most important feature is that they are ready to go once you pick up the weapon. No need to ever press any of the buttons. The circle plus dot makes target acquisition much easier and once accustomed you can even hit stuff like flying clay pigeons by simply putting the ring around it rather than aiming the dot. The auto brightness feature works in 90% of all situations - if you are in the shade and your target is in bright sunlight you might have to manually increase the brightness but other than that these things are awesome....

Excellent optic, not Holographic
This is my fourth Holosun 510C. I love the product as it functions well. But I had always thought it was a Holographic sight (with the name), yet it is not. Still works well. The mounting lock lever springs are a bit flimsy, as I have broken them on two of the units with normal handling, so caution is advised.

They were Right..!
Wanted a different brand but This really IS a Smokin' deal.Brightness is nuclear for bright daytime Desert sun, yet goes as dim as you need. The 3 settings are awesome, solar panels in a good spot, dust cover great.Farthest so far was maybe 300 yds.. DEAD ON SHOT..!Kept it's Zero. 👍👍👍

Best site for the price.
I loved this product but unfortunately the adjustments were too stiff. It might be defective.Otherwise it is top notch. I would rate it with Trijicon, Aim-point and Eotech.

Bought Halosun and a Trijicon...
As my title indicates, I decided to do a personal side by side as optics are just too important to not know what you're missing. Long story short, the Trijicon was returned because it wasn't better than the Halosun on any of the first 4 levels of brightness. The 5th level is where the Halosun ran into a little bit of trouble with glare inside the casing whereas the Trijicon had no glare. For me personally, I probably will never run it above the 3rd setting anyways, so the point was mute. The question becomes, is no glare at the 5th lighting level worth triple the cost? For me the answer was a definitive no. The Halosun is absolutely great, huge FOV, easy to use with both eyes open and great reticle options. I highly recommend this optic, you won't find anything better in the price range.

Red Box Frame and Blurry Lens
I bought this Holosun and it came packaged as if someone took it out and did their own plastic wrap. I've bought one before from another vendor and theirs was in a clean plastic wrap from the factory. Once I opened the box I tried the light and I got an immediate red spotted frame with a bunch of dots. It looked like something had refracted the light and it was a bunch of red dots everywhere. Obviously this is going to create an issue since it is distracting from the actual sight.I also noticed that the light would shut off if I cover my hand off the solar. I had to unscrew the plate and reinstall the battery. At that point it did come back on and I could be in no light and it still worked running off the battery. I did notice the light was shaking and the edges of the sight were blurred. Also the red light was dim. I tried turning up the lighting and it was still dim and blurry.I then decided to take out my old one. This one had no issues, it was clear, and crisp. I could turn it down and turn it up. It still was sharp. This one seemed defective in the frame of lighting with the red spots, then the lighting was dim and blurry. It just seemed off in multiple ways compared to the other one. Plus I never got the spare batteries it was suppose to go with. All in all I would try using a different vendor.

U.S. Army Vet approved!!
U.S. Army Vet approved. Very impressive, nearly zero'd right out of the box, made only a slight adjustment, then zero was good, I fired accurately at 50 yard max firing range, I sat the red on the front sight post, aimed, fired, right on target, maintained same sight picture, targets varied in distance, as small silhouettes represented 300 meters, larger represented 50 meters. Fired 30 - 40 rounds, no issue. Worth every dollar.
