LimbSaverSims Vibration 10816 Airtech Precision-Fit Recoil Pad Gun Stock

I put it on an older Savage 30-06 bolt action. Not a "perfect" fit but dang close. Anyways That gun kicked extremely hard before. My brother shoots a 300 short mag and he said my 30-06 kicked harder and hurt more than his gun. But after putting the LimbSaver Airtech on it, it is like a totally different gun. It took out at least half the recoil if not more. I mean it still kicks but it doesn't hurt or leave marks on my shoulder like it used too. Totally worth the money 100%, I highly recommend it... If it fits your gun of course, but even if it doesn't fit perfect, it is probably worth the sacrifice in looks to save your shoulder.They have printouts of their different models and their sizes. I printed those out and held them to my gun to make sure it would fit and that the screw holes were in the right place. That is the best way I know of to see if it fits your gun. I bought the 5” model for my beretta 390 but it was too long. I bought this model and it fit almost perfectly after slotting one of the the screw holes with a drill bit.If you have a beretta 390…this is the pad you want. Not the 5”.

I was very specific about the model of my rifle when selecting the proper fit. The LimbSaver that arrived was for a different rifle. I didn't have time to wait for the correct fit. The mounting holes lined up, so I installed it and went hunting. The rifle stock profile and pad profile edges do not completely align but it works well enough. It is a great, noticeable reduction in recoil. I highly recommend the part, you need to be absolutely certain that the one you order correctly fits your factory rifle stock.

I'll have to ream out the mounting hole slightly to get it perfect. I also tried model #10808 which is very close to a good fit as well and wouldn't need any modification but is slightly longer than the stock. Model 10803 would work as well as model 10301. I ordered them all and tried the fit of each and decided to go with 10601.

The recoil pad is great. The fit for my Stoeger Condor is less than okay. I had to drill a new screw hole and will have to get a spacer to trim to make the new pad look right. Overall I expected more for my money. The Limbsaver pad is smaller than the actual Condor dimensions and I had to drill a new screw hole in my buttstock. This was not a one pad fluke - I ordered pads for two shotguns and had the same problem on both.

I looked in catalog for the correct fit for a Mossberg 500 12 gauge field model, called the help line to verify the correct fitment for my gun, then ordered Limbsaver, and still does not fit correctly? Quality may be good, but if it does not fit to stock properly it is not worth the $40+ to me. I hope to hear back from Limbsaver with a solution. See attached photos.UPDATE: Contacted the Limbsaver customer service and was advised to "use a file to make the holes oblong". Not a satisfied customer.
