Great Headphones!
I've used many earbuds over the years, and I was motivated to buy this pair after my old pair died. Compared to the Apple EarPods and the Sony MDR-E9LP, these are amazing; they sound noticeably better than the earpods, with richer bass and crisper highs, while being far cheaper - and while it's hard to find earpods that work with the headphone jack these days, these things work just fine with all of my old equipment. Compared to the Sony's, my old go to cheap earbuds, these sound substantially better while not being all that more expensive. These also come with the benefit of being able to customize the color, which is a nice little touch for individuality, and they've got that little bump on the left headphone so you can tell them apart in the dark. *Very* useful feature that I hate not having on earbuds. And although I know this isn't always a good thing, these earbuds can get quite loud if you need them to - not something I'd recommend on most devices, but I have an old 3DS that's developed a problem with the headphone jack, where it's much quieter than it should be, and these Sennheisers can still pick up the sound at a comfortable volume. That's not something the earpods could ever do!The only thing I can really criticize about these is that the part that goes into your ear is quite large. I have big ears, and even mine feel a little sore after wearing them for a bit. They do come with cushions, which I admittedly haven't tried putting on yet, and regardless I think it's well worth trying a pair of these if you're on the fence. They offer outstanding sound quality for the price, and definitely beat any other pair of earbuds I've tried at this price point - Sennheiser really knocked it out of the park!

Decent sound for the price.
As a long time Sennheiser headphone lover and audiophile...I have seen their quality go steadily downhill over the years...outsourcing from Germany to Ireland, now China. It's economics and I can't really fault them for staying in business however they can. Anyway, these are decent (I use the decent term VERY subjectively) headphones at the $15 dollar price point, however, acoustically they do not compare to the MX 300 II's which I also have...though the 300's have other issues (extremely sensitive to proper orientation in the ear). They are plenty loud enough, and with both ear buds in they are reasonably secure for walking, as for jogging, I would think they'd fall out in short order. They are more comfortable than the 300's to me. As a no-frills solution they are okay, and most people wouldn't mind the lack of audio fidelity...most people are content with 128kbps MP3's.If all you want is an inexpensive, throw-away set of ear buds for your cell phone, these are a good buy. If you want audiophile quality sound, look elsewhere and be prepared to pay through the nose...and then you get to worry about the thin wires breaking on you and losing your investment. The audio chips in most cell phones and computers these days isn't going to give you the fidelity that reference headphones will give you anyway. Another in a long line of best-bang-for-the-buck purchases.I've come to realize that ear buds will never compare to an over the ear headphone...if you keep this in mind, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent ear buds
When running and cycling outdoors, it's important to be able to be able to hear your surroundings so in-ear plugs are out of the question. I've tried many ear bud style headphones over the years in search of the best and my search stopped with these. They sound fantastic. The sound is rich through the full spectrum, the bass is the best I've ever heard on an ear bud -- comparable to more expensive over ear headphones. These things are priced low enough to be disposable... honestly, I'd have given 5 stars to a lesser product. That these sound so good at such a low price blows my mind. There may be ear buds with better sound out there, but I bet they cost 10x as much for a marginal difference in tone.Despite exercising vigorously in them for several months, they still sound great and work perfectly (I ruined 2 other pair of headphones in a fraction of the time last summer). Just in case, I have 2 extra pair on hand for when I eventually do wear them out.My one complaint would be that these are particularly uncomfortable without the foam pads, moreso than other ear buds I've used (including prior Sennheiser models). I've managed to not lose the factory provided pads, but I'd still recommend picking up some Replacement 10 Pack Sponge Covers just in case.

Ok at best, but for better sound quality, look elsewhere.
Having purchased Sennheiser products in the past and have been impressed by the sound quality - I was thinking that these would be at least better than my standard apple earpods, however, I think I misjudged. I personally do not like the in-ear canal ear buds, so I was looking for earbuds from a quality brand and having owned Sennheisers in the past (I must have lost or broken the previous pair). The sound quality is just mediocre at best - but I guess at this price point I shouldn't have expected to be blown away. I do like the way the headphones are designed as you can clearly tell if the earbuds are to be placed in the right/left ear, it feels uncomfortable if you place them in your ears incorrectly, which is nice, you can always tell, even just by feel which side is which. In comparison to my apple earpods though, there's no comparison, I'm guessing because of the design. These are flat, where as the apple earpods just sound better in my opinion. The sound is quite flat, the bass is "ok" just very flat sounding.I would recommend them to those who constantly break or lose their headphones because of the price point - they are not super cost effective but they are definitely not "expensive" either. But if you're looking for better sound quality - just because of the name, doesn't mean you'll get what you're expecting.
