He still uses this one as a back up but decided the battery life isn’t long enough and was hoping to return I didn’t return it cause he needs a back up light.

Tie on handle has symmetrical angle.Handle fits better on right hand.

I used this light on about ten dives, when the light stopped working. I was on a dive trip and did not have an easy way to obtain a replacement light. The dive resort shop opened the light and diagnosed that the problem was the pins connecting the light head to the body had become loose. When I got home, I contacted Light and Motion for a warranty repair, however they denied the repair because the light had been opened, and blamed me for damaging the light. After some back and forth, they reluctantly agreed to accept the return, but reserved the right to charge me, depending on what they saw.These lights are prone to breaking, and given there warranty conditions, these lights are not field serviceable, so I would not reccomend.Aside from the quality control and warranty support issues, these lights have a very "bluish" tint to them and do not have good color fidelity, as compared to earlier Sola lights.

Good enough to catch lobsters!
