Great product.
Better than the regular tiles. These tiles are thinner than regular ceiling tiles, and weigh a little less, as far as I can tell. They are slightly flexible, which makes getting them in when there are pipes or conduit close to the grid about 10x easier than regular tiles. The 2x2 tiles don't sag. I have not used the 2x4 tiles, but I assume those would not sag either. They create no dust when you are cutting them down. Just score them with a razor blade, and break them. It's super easy. These babies are also super good at handling water. I have them in a bathroom with a shower, and I no longer worry about steam from hot showers discoloring or damaging the tiles. These tiles also don't gather dust as easily. I have the smooth ones, and the lack of any texture means they don't really pick up dust, and vacuum or wipe off easily. As for acoustic isolation... maybe 75% to 50% as effective as standard ceiling tiles? Hard to tell in my application. It still creates an air barrier though. If you want something more serious, think about actual acoustic insulation.Bottom line: I am happy with these. They are easy to clean, won't discolor, don't create dust when you work with them, and are easy to work with in general. If I ever have to buy ceiling tiles again, I am going to buy this kind.

Buy these Ceiling Tiles you will be glad you did!
I purchased 2 cartons of Genesis - Smooth Pro 2'x2' Ceiling Tiles, 24 pieces in all. First time using this product but second time installing a grid and tile ceiling. The PVC Ceiling Tiles are 1st rate in appearance and material. One side of each tile is the "show" side. The tiles are smooth, but there appears to be a light grain direction to each tile due from manufacturing or handling during production. We choose to run all tiles in the same direction. Tiles are about 1/4" thick x 23 3/4" sq. Tiles are easy to cut, I used a table saw with a 10" diameter blade with 200 teeth (used for cutting plywood). Cuts like butter. Installed Genesis Tiles in "CeilingLink" Direct mount grid system that has only a 1" height and screwed directly to the wooden ceiling joists. I am very pleased with the overall look and quality of the new ceiling.

These are plastic core material like I use for my business signs
These are plastic core material like I use for my business signs, but they are solid rather than coragated like cardboard. I was a little surprisedby the light weight, but happy too! They were indeed easy to install and in the long run I believe the lightness will be a very good thing. I put them in the bath room in the basement after a plumbing leak ruined the previous tiles. Thank you for a good, usable product.

Good ceiling tiles for small high humidity rooms
Excellent product. Easy to trim to fit. Used them in my bathrooms and laundry where I have high humidity and they're great. Don't know if I'd recommend them for large rooms where there'll be a lot of noise.

Looks good!
Product came packaged well, outer box showed damage but inner box & tiles perfect. Product is as described and was easy to cut & install. Slightly thinner than I expected at +-1/4” but seems sturdy enough installed as a ceiling tile & the thickness makes cutting that much easier.I would recommend this product.

Great for moisture prone areas and high humidity
These are great replacements but only in certain areas. I used these in my basement drop ceiling where I didnt care about noise mitigation. These are great for damper areas like a basement ir bathroom, more so than the particle board ones. They will not discolor or hold moisture and the biggest plus is NO dust if you have to move them, etc. These are a little pricey but worth it.

Very white. Nice for the Ceiling Max grid system (goes against the joist)
Good product. Cut them with a razor knife and a metal T-Square or metal square that is 24". I'm sure they're on Amazon. I picked one up at Home Deport for about 8 dollars (steel one).Drag the knife across pushing down hard. Then snap just like drywall. That's all the precision you need for the ceiling grid.

Perfect for a basement bathroom needing a drop ceiling.
They're plastic and very basic. However, they're just what we needed in a basement bathroom. Didn't want to use a drop ceiling panel of varigated paper which would mold or I couldn't clean. These won't work in a drop ceiling elsewhere due to the lack of sound deadening.....I would actually drywall the entire basement and avoid any drop ceilings! Bad for resale and very ugly
