A must-have for cleaning reclaimed wood
The media could not be loaded. I use the Osborn Cup Brush on my variable speed sander/polisher for cleaning off reclaimed barn beams. They work great at cleaning off the hand-hewn and roughsawn surfaces of the beams as well as reaching into cracks/checks in the beams. Removes dirt, paint, bird poop and other stuff. Also lightly sands the surface as it cleans. Best utilized at lower rpm's. Hold with light pressure and let the brush do the work. A must-have for anyone building with reclaimed materials.

Wonderful if used as intended
Reference to an earlier comment...this brush is not intended for stripping, it is meant for removing loose wood fibers in preparation for finish. It does a great job, but be sure to use a variable speed buffer or grinder.

Quality
Fast delivery, and medium quality. The brush “straws” loosens very easily.

Log furniture doesn't clean.
Tried this for cleaning my log table (redwood). Doesn't really clean anything. Leaving some black marks. Not sure what to do with it now.

Sanding log homes no better product
This is my second log home sanding. These Osborn cup brushes the 4" and 6" cannot be beat. Take old stain, paint right off. Leave a very smooth finish surface. The cup brushes last for a fairly long time, just do not go above 2000 rpm.Tried others and they do not come close in the ease and finish product that the Osborn cup brush provides

Osborn Abrasive Brush does a great job
The Osborn Abrasive brush is good for getting into some tight spaces and follows the contour of the surface you are sanding. It is used on a rotary buffing tool. I used this brush for sanding my entire deck, including all the spindles. It does a good job of removing the fuzz that is raised after power washing. It is a lot of work, but comes out looking good.

Osborn Quality
We use these to remove the 'furry' wood from log homes after pressure washing the building to bare wood. You can run this brush at a low speed , using a 7 inch variable speed sander polisher.
