Vi vante camera strap
Just got this new vi vante camera strap . And it’s super cool. Specially the quality of it . And love how the stitching on the bottom is different color so it pops up more .If you want something simple but elegant with good quality . This is the camera strap for you.

Good Quality
I have several camera straps…Cooph, Clever Supply, Hyperion.. So far this strap is my favorite! It’s very comfortable and feels high quality. I only wish they have different sizes for this strap. It’s a little too long for me, but I still use it because it’s so comfortable.

High quality, high price, not perfect
I prefer rope straps. I have this one and a $10 version. Compared to the strap that’s many times less expensive, the VV strap:- has much better ends. the camera protectors on the cheap strap are cut, and scratchy and distracting when shooting through the OVF. VV’s are super high quality with rounded and glued edges. They clearly thought about this specific issue.- is a heavier strap. The cheap strap is about 30% thinner, has more spring, is less squishy, about the same rope-burniness, and has a slicker texture. The cheaper strap is softer. Overall I prefer the cheaper rope.Ideally I’d put the nice VV leather ends on the cheaper, thinner, and softer rope. But if I have to make the choice, I go with the better finished ends, even though the strap costs many times more.(fuji x100v)

Perhaps over priced for features and limitations
This strap has a nice appearance and has a good, mild stretch to it, but is a synthetic fiber that pulls easily. The length is also on the long side for wearing cross-wise to rest in the best spot, unless perhaps one is particularly tall, and it is definitely long for wearing on one shoulder. The end pieces are a nice leather but a bit long and stiff, not relaxing or flexing as easily as perhaps they should at varying angles.

Best rope strap!
Look no further if you're looking for a rope strap! I've owned a few and what sets Vi Vante apart is the little attention to details. First and foremost, you'll notice the strap material is SILKY SMOOTH when you get it. Then you'll notice the amazingly soft leather used when mounting on your camera. Lastly you'll noticed some elasticity when throwing your camera over your neck. It's really nice and you'll get what you pay for.Someone made a comment about the shutter and thumbwheel button being restricted. I find this not to be the case in my use right out of the box. (See attached pics.) When worn as a strap, the leather is pulled towards your body making the shutter button easy to hit and I still have plenty of clearance for the thumbwheel. If you have extremely tiny fingers, you can also grip the strap to body extremely easy because of how soft it is. After doing that once you can see how the strap falls out of the in my last pic. That should show how easy it is to conform easily to your demands and not hard and stiff that be in your way. Alternatively (not highly recommended), you can cut off the leather pieces that make the strap stand up on the body and toss them out or leave them on the body detached from the strap so the rings could move without restriction. Otherwise, vi vante makes other leather straps that don't have the camera leather protector as the same part of the strap.

Stiff like any other rope strap. What happened to ViVante?
I have two other ViVante rope straps purchased over the last few years. They are soft, silky, supple. A pure joy to wear with even a heavier camera like the Leica M.This one is stiff, plasticky, far from silky soft, and feels not much different than the standard ten buck rope straps here on Amazon and EBay. Yes, it has a slightly bigger diameter, but that’s it. It is definitely NOT WORTH the premium charged and I’m sending it back. Hopefully future batches will be softer and silkier again.

Excellent length for cross-body carry of camera
I bought two of these when I realized they are around 110cm long, which is perfect length for cross-body carry for my cameras. Most fixed-length camera sling are of 100cm long which is just a tad too short to carry across. These also come with scratch guard (which I removed for better articulation). Overall, works well on my Leicas (M11 and Q2). Might buy one more for my Zeiss Ikon rangefinder and maybe the Nikon Z9.

Fits my Leica Q2 perfectly, weightless!
This strap is great! It fits my Leica Q2 perfectly and makes it feel weightless! The leather ends are supple, but incredibly strong and the material on the strap is soft on my neck which is great for my sensitive skin. I'm a huge fan of this company and will definitely be buying again!PS. It comes with a dust bag which I really appreciate.
