Lundby doll house

This dollhouse was a flat when it arrived! Luckily with my experience with IKEA furniture I was able to rather easily make it up into a home after following the instructions. Things I like: I really liked the wallpapers, they seem high quality in design and I liked the flexibility that is offered with this dollhouse as you can adjust so much to what you are wanting. It wasn't just the wallpaper that was good quality, it was apparent in the sturdiness of the house and how interchangeable different aspects are (the wallpaper and the option to expand) that this is a brand that know how to make dolls houses well. This is also seen in the inclusion of the windows and usable doors (a really lovely addition). Some gripes: The lack of any furnishing is a bit sad (even just a staircase as there are two floors). Due to the lower height of the top floor it's quite difficult to find any already owned furniture or dolls that can happily fit there, which kind of necessitates further purchase of Lundby products in order to properly flesh out this dolls house. Overall: A lovely high quality doll house with plenty of room for modification and changes to decoration. The price is a bit expensive, but you are getting a well made product. However, do expect to have to buy further furniture packs in order to have it fully fleshed out as the top floor is a bit low-ceiling-ed to accommodate most other furniture you might already own, remember as well that there is no staircase included so that is certainly something you might want to think about before ordering (you can purchase the staircase from the store seperately).

If you have a mind for assembling IKEA products this will suit you! I felt like the instructions were clear and with a little time and patience I thought that the construction was relatively easy. It could be quite easy to overtighten the screws / mangle the screws if you don’t have the appropriate screwdriver so bear this in mind when building the house. Once assembled the doll house was very sturdy and I wasn’t worried about it coming apart at all. The design of adjustable wallpaper is really quite clever, it means that there is a large amount of flexibility with the doll’s house and can be changed up relatively quickly. You can tell that the doll’s house is high quality / well-made and I love the fact that there are options to buy expansion packs to extend the house. The small touches like the doors being openable is particularly nice. I do think that the staircase should be included in this set as it doesn’t really make sense a two-storey house without a staircase. The lack of any furniture included with the doll’s house is a little disappointing but I understand that you can pick and choose the furniture to suit how you want to build the house up. An improvement in terms of storing the dolls house away would to be to have an additional wall to box the house together for moving and prevent any gathering of dust. In conclusion, the doll house is a high-quality item (reflected in the price) which has plenty of potential to change up the feel of the house and make it your own. In order for everything to fit perfectly you will need to purchase more Lundby items as it seems to be a unique scale.

The house itself is great quality and once built it appears that it will last a long time. There is the potential to add extra rooms onto it. I was a little disappointed that the stairs are not included in the main pack. You can purchase them separately but I feel stairs are part of the basic structure of a house & should be included, especially as you get no accessories at all with the house to start with. I have already purchased a few of the ‘room’ packs to furnish the house with but am yet to buy the correct sized dolls to use but it’s a project in progress & I think I will be very pleased once finished as the quality of all the items, house included, is one of the best I have seen for doll houses./accessories. I did get a little overwhelmed when it arrived completely deconstructed, but the constructional video here on the amazon selling page really helped me to see how simple it would be to piece this all together correctly. If stairs had been already included or a ‘front cover’ to the house this would definitely have been a 5 star rating.

Excellent quality &value item, sturdiness, & design dolls house.

Great box and packaging with accurate pictures. Really impressed! I love the design and colour scheme and also how durable the house is, I am very pleased with the quality of the house. I have tried hard to find something that I don't like or that I feel needs improving but as of yet haven't been able to. I can honestly say I am very happy indeed. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this dolls house. It looks great with the furniture. Also like the idea that I can expand it in the future.

I couldn't believe how expensive this was for just a house, no stairs, furniture, lights or dolls. I thought it would be a wooden house but is made of sturdy plastic frames with thick cardboard inserts. The cute doors are plastic. However, it is extremely tempting to just buy all the expensive extras, such as furniture sets and dolls, as well as handmade extras to be found on sites such as Etsy. In hindsight, I think this is more suited to collectors and miniaturists than for kids. Personally I'd rather buy my child a sturdier, more affordable doll house that's a more common size too, as this one is too small for most dolls and furniture which forces you to stick to the same brand. Overall, tempting and good quality but not for children and certainly not affordable.

My 11 year old loves this, it took me by myself about an hour to put together - build on a flat surface! The quality and flexibility is good, and I like the fact its modular, allowing for add ons in the future. I added some real lighting and my daughter is very happy with it. Standard size doll house furniture fits it well and being able to switch round the back wallpaper is a nice touch.

I really like this dolls house, a really simple, basic design, done well. It just is what it is and I really like it. A really nice size and the furniture sets you can buy to go with it are really modern and realistic looking. Happy with this item

Ich bin kein großer Fan von Plastik oder viel pink, zudem war für mich wichtig, dass das Puppenhaus nicht so viel Platz wegnimmt. Bei der Suche bin ich auf dieses Puppenhaus gestoßen. Es ist sehr stabil - auch beim Spielen mehrerer Kinder - durch die herausnehmbaren Wände kann es zudem von allen Seiten bespielt werden. Der Zusammenbau ist für jemanden, der schob mal eine Bauanleitung in der Hand hatte, machbar und schnell erledigt. Ich würde es wieder kaufen.
