Rich Copper!
I must admit that I love the quality, texture, and shimmer of the Iridescent line of colors pictured. I will definitely be ordering more from this company. You must shake the product well before using, otherwise the ink will be watery and difficult to use. The dropper that is included makes usage easier. If you want a smooth line use less ink, and for a bold, raised line slightly more ink your nib. These inks are best used with dip pens, however, glass pens are a little more difficult because the ink dries fast. I read in another review that the company will send you beads to put in the jars if you contact them. I used copper BB's and noticed that some inks do not like them and damages the ink. I recommend using plastic or glass beads to help mix the ink when separated.

Perfect condition, great color.
I ordered the iridescent copper ink from Dr Ph. Martin. The bottle shipped by itself in a padded envelope, wrapped in sealed bubble wrap. Surprisingly it arrived unbroken and not leaking. It took a little while to shake up all the pigment, works best if you hold the bottle upsidedown. The color is exactly what I was expecting. Great aged copper color that is definitely iridescent, but still easy to see details. There is still some thick, gloppy ink clinging to the outside of the dropper, so it probably needs more shaking. The dropper works well but doesn't seem to reach the bottom, I might need a pipette to get the last of the ink. This ink flowed well from a fine nib on my dip pen and cleaned up easily with water while still wet. I did get a few thick ink blots when I ended up with gloppy ink on my pen but again, might just need more mixing. Definitely recommend.

Great color!
Got this ink, along with the gold one. I'm using it for pretty much only art purposes, so I can't speak on the ink quality for calligraphy. I love this ink, but there are a few things to note about it.1. It separates in the bottle. This seems to be standard with gold inks. The ink reincorporates well and doesn't need to be shaken for too long.2. It's kind of glittery. It's not a chunky glitter, but it does have some sort of glitter in it, as opposed to a straight metallic sheen. This isn't a problem for me, but just something to note.3. It can kind of be a little streaky if you're going over a large area. Maybe that's just the paper I'm using, but still.4. It plays nicely with water.5. If you put an ink over it, it will still show through. I've tried layering sharpie over it and the gold glitter somehow still appears over it? (you can see that in the first picture)6. I needed to use a thumbtack to dislodge a chunk of ink from the dropper tool upon first usage. This ink in particular tends to chunk up and clog the dropper.Images are attached to hopefully show off the ink closer up. None of them are edited, and all are taken under florescent light. Overall, really nice and shiny.

Great copper ink!!
This ink is phenominal! It is actually a brilliant copper color. It dries to a kind of gloss, or soft shine. I love it! So many inks and even paints that say they're copper, aren't. This one is! I would love to be able to use this in my fountain pen, but from the consistancy, I know it would be the end of said fountain pen. Still, I will use the ink. I'll just have to learn to write with a dip pen. Something I want to do anyway. So many more great colors to collect. I can hardly wait! Did I say this is great ink and I love the real coppery color?!!

Ink is very pretty with a shimmering
I bought it because I do a lot of calligraphy. Shipping was very fast. Ink is very pretty with a shimmering. The color is incredible, espescially on black paper! The ink itselves is very opaque and smooth. A little bit thick, but with a few drops of water it's fine for automatic nibs. You have to clean your nibs immediately after use. Otherwise you will be endless clean your nibs, without results.Would buy it again and again and again ;)

Bold brassy color
This ink looks great on lighter colored papers — very readable.

My Bottle May Have Been A Fluke
Great color, very true feeling copper. Only complaint is that the bottle I got had a gunked up stopper I had to clean out, and the ink itself seemed thicker than all of my other Dr. P.H. Martin inks. Not sure if that is Amazon storage and delivery to blame, or how this color came out in the manufacturing process. Will know when I purchase another of this color. I use it all the time, though mainly for painting, as it's thicker than can be easily used with a traditional dip pen.

No llegó
Me hubiera encantado tener éste producto en mis manos pero lamentablemente, nunca me llegó... me parece que fue un problema con la aduana.

Stunning Colour
This is an absolutely stunning colour and writes smooth even for someone on my very beginner level of using dip pens. I swatched the colour also using a paint brush and it extremely smooth and had great coverage. The swatch video is on my YouTube video; Middle Aged Geek Grrrl. Feel free to check it out!
