Good Seat
I like it for the most part. One of the only seats that allows you access from the side. I've purchased two seats in the past and have had both of them break in the same spot. The seats are weak in the area of the side opening area. I'm just careful about sitting down now.

If you are a caregiver for a slim person, this could be a great seat. It gives a caregiver easy access. However, if you are caring for a heavier person, or if you are planning on using this for yourself, skip it. You cannot access your own parts via the side openings regardless of your size, the angles just don't work. If you have any extra skin that may extend over the side of the seat (where the access openings are), the seat is too narrow to be comfortable and the rounded corners where the seat narrows will dig into your thighs and it gets very uncomfortable after about a minute. It does sit securely on the toilet and doesn't slide around.

Perfect for traveling
Purchased this as a gift for a disabled person. Not all toilets in a hotel are the right height, even in accessible rooms. This is very easy to pack and carry (light) when traveling, and gives the user much wanted independence.

PROVED DANGEROUS.
Actually, I would like to return this, and need to know if you'll take it back without the original box.I happen to open this the night prior to our neighborhood recycling, so the box got thrown away -- by mistake, actually -- by my husband.My 90-year-old mother had an accident when this toilet seat lifted from the back as she was getting up and she slid off it. I know that it was affixed properly as I even tried it on, and I am much heavier.However, after she fell, I put it back on to try and discovered that the problem was that if you were still seated on it, but leaned forward even just slightly, the entire seat comes off as the clasps are only in front and therefore can slide out...My mother actually ended up in ER because of this product!
