Avantgarde HDMI Digital AV Adapter for iPad 1/2/3, iPhone 4/4s, iPod Touch 4th Gen

This eliminates the need for AppleTV altogether.I buy season passes for shows I want PLUS MLBtv & NBA League Pass & with this, I can watch iPad (3) to HDTV anywhere. Only thing AppleTV can do that this can't (for my needs) is that it has a remote. (Long enough HDMI cable? No problem)Great "pigtail" for the iPad. I also picked up the Composite cable version & it also works as advertised.

It works great -- just plugged it in, and voila! Some of the other stuff I've gotten for my Macbook Air or iPad have had problems at the cable end (insulation detaching and fraying), so I hope this one doesn't. I'll get back on and edit this -- both the rating and the comments -- if it does. In the mean time, though, it's great.

I have a generation 1 iPad and according to the reviews, this adapter should have worked. It didn't and I tried it on all three of my HDTV's. I have successfully connected my laptops to all three of my TV's using an HDMI cable connector. I don't know why it wouldn't work.

Do not purchase if you want to use Xfinity app. Security lock prevents app from operating when adapter is connect to larger viewing source.After connection, no widescreen. Image is boxed in at the sides.It does work though, technically. Just not how any tech consumer would want it to.

I bought this for my parents to use so they could watch netflix on their t.v. The product seems to work well, sometimes it's hard to tell whether or not the cord is connected fully, but other than that it serves it's purpose.

Bought this to use on my Ipad 2 and it works great. Definitely recommend to anybody trying to save some bucks and need a great working product.

very useful if ipad could be charged at same time as using devicestill i use it and precharge the iPAD

I love the quality of the product might take some time to get use to but all in all good.
