Star Wars The Black Series Emperor Palpatine 6 Inch Figure

Do you know the power of the Dark Side? Palpatine does. Nice figure, my son was thrilled with it for Christmas. Our house has been Star Wars everything, and old dad is happy about it. Well made, nicely articulated, and pure evil like a Sith should be.

I love these figure of Palentine. It goes well with my other Star Wars figures.

The picture makes him look weird to me but when I actually opened the package and took him out, he looked perfectly normal and pretty good. My only complaints are: due to plastic skirt you cant do anything with his legs, hood sometimes does its own thing, no lightsaber (really?!? yoda gets one but he doesnt?!?), no force lightning (hes known for this), the cloak unbuttons even if the lightest breeze hits it. I do however love his face and how they have his fingers barely pointing like he did in the movies.

The Black Series is amazing and incredibly detailed. The figures have such remarkable detail that it reminds me of the original toys when they came out. I have the emperor placed on the shelf next to Darth Vadar and a Storm Trooper. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was really hoping for an action figure that had a nice ball sacky appearance and I thought I'd struck gold with this figure but alas, I got it in the mail and this figure was just not ball sacky enough. Don't listen to Robert S. Crockett, the cape is mediocre at best. Overall, great figure tho! Def worth the money! Five stars!

A welcome home surprise for 8 year old avid Star Wars collector. He commented the Star Wars Black Series 6 inch Emperor Palpatine was better than he had anticipated. Emperor Palpatine was placed in a prominent place with Star Wars Black Series 6 inch Darth Vader. A fine addition to hisBlack Series Collection.

Distribution on Star wars figures has been horrible in some areas so one of the joys of collecting (finding figures on a peg), is lost for the collector. I had to opt to buy this guy online for a little more than I would have paid a retail, so I was already a little annoyed. I will say that I think the sculpt is decent. I've read a lot of collectors complain about it, but to me it's just fine. However, I doesn't understand (unless it's for the purpose of making another version and fleecing the collectors for everyday dime they can) why Hasbro refuses to build the feature into their toys that any collector would want them to have to be diorama ready! Look, this is the Emperor, he spends a good portion of his time on screen setting in his "throne". So, we want a figure that can look decent in a setting position. That requires a soft-goods skirt, not hard plastic like this one has! Other than that, if In were making these figures, I would have included some "force-lighting" to attach to his hands (and of course some kind of display base.

Really Awesome truly have unlimited imagination with this figure! I got it fast and unharmed. Great service!

This was the last action figure from the notable Star Wars figures that I collected. Finally the Emperor can be behind his greatest apprentice Darth Vader.
