Excellent Transition Bag
I have been searching for a Triathlon Transition bag for a while, but didn't want to spend anywhere near $100 and luckily I found this bag.It doesn't have an over abundance of little pockets - but I like that. The pockets it does have are large enough so you can really fit everything in there and not have to wonder where you put things.I took it this weekend for a race and had the following inside with plenty of room: wetsuit, cycle shoes, running shoes, helmet, socks, towels (2x - hand towel size), sunscreen (spray can and smaller one), electrical tape, body glide, nutrition, 4 water bottles, flip flops, spare tubes, air cartridges, and on the out side of the bag it has 2 clips - where I attached my visor. You can't ask more out of a transition bag.

Very poor quality.
It takes s lot for me to post a negative review, but this backpack pulled it off.See the 2 small loops just below the red top? In the picture they have carabiners attached.I pulled the bag out of the packaging by one of the carabiners and the loop tore away from the bag. It literally broke when I was taking it out of the bag.Very poor stitching.I will be returning and looking elsewhere

Great Bag for swimming or anyone wanting a sturdy and spacious bag!!!
I bought this bag for my daughter. Her old TYR backpack (over five years old) was starting to rip in the bottom and on the straps. It still would have done the job, but I thought it was time for a new back. I bought a second TYR swim backpack because it can take a beating and still do the job. The pool can be a punishing environment for fabric, and this backpack is solidly constructed, holds its shape, and also its color through several swim seasons. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great swim bag, but also anyone who wants a sturdy and spacious bag for carrying their stuff.

Excellent value, large enough for my Tri transition gear
I looked around for a while, and struggled to find a tri backpack that wasn't over $100 and looked solid. I didn't have the benefit of shopping in person, so I took a chance on this bag from Tyr. I am not disappointed. I've taken it to 2 tri events, and there is plenty of room in the bag for gear. I don't even fill if half way, which means I can easily find what I'm looking for in the open main compartment. The handle on the top of the straps is very helpful for pulling it up to access its contents. It has a pair of zippered side pockets--I stow my food and water there for quick access. I put my helmet on one of the carabiners, to allow easy access as I am typically riding my bike for a while after parking the car. Some of these "handles" are too small for a grown man's hands, but this one is easy to get a hold of. Small pocket for breakables, where I stow my shades and goggles/anti-fog cream. Shoe pocket is a shoe pocket, ventilated to the outside with enough room for 1 pair of shoes. In the main pocket, I carry: 2 small towels, extra pair of socks, cold weather shell, extra swim cap, bike multi-tool, flip flops, and spare shorts. I have also carried my wetsuit in the bag, which pretty much fills it up.Durability appears good, although the zippers are what I'd call mid-grade, not the light ones found on $20 back packs but not the uber heavy ones found on Ogio bags, either. I am reasonable confident this bag will last me a good while.Oh, and the red really stands out and makes it easier to ID my bike in transition.

Please look for other product.
Ordered in March, used for the first time in May, zip on side blew out, I asked for help in getting it fixed, was told to ask for return label., which I did and they denied my return with the statement out of return period. Which it was, but a zip should last a bit longer than one use. I'm going to go along with a great many others and say don't buy the bag. While the design is very good, the quality just isn't there and they don't stand behind their product.

Pretty, Tough and Functional!
Love Love LOVE this bag! I got tired of dragging 2 separate gear bags to the gym because all of my stuff wouldn't fit into one. This large bag holds everything I need for a trip to the gym for my swim workout, then off to the park for my bike and run. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and look forward to packing it up next week for my next Tri. That's a 24oz water bottle in the side pocket to give you some idea of the size of this bag. Pretty, tough and functional, the perfect Tri bag!

Look for something else..
Used for the gym daily and used for a few Tri's. It started rip at the seams after a few months. It completely ripped apart after a year. If you're looking for a disposable bag, start throwing your money at TYR. In fact, you might need to buy two of them. This bag was only completely packed a few times for races. Lightly packed for gym swims/ workouts - shirts/ shorts/ towel.

Great for the value
I chose this backpack because I did not want to spend $100 plus on something I will only use a couple times a year. After 1 triathlon weekend and a couple trips to the lake for some group open water swims/ aquathlons it has held up great. the backpack fits everything I need for transition including my wetsuit and both running and cycling shoes. The separate mesh pocket does not fit my wetsuit but I am a pretty tall guy (6'4). I use it to store my running shoes. The pockets on the side are great for water bottles and I keep my swim cap/ goggles, keys, wallet in the front zippered pocket. So far it's held up with no tears or anything.
