Durable Laundry Stacking Kit for 27-Inch Front Load Washers and Dryer Models

Very easy to install

I have a 27on LG front loading set and it fits like a glove. It came with 8 screws in total (4 for predrilled screws and 4 metal screws) also came with the sticky things already on it. Mine did not come with intrusions however the wife took less than 3 minutes to completely unbox and install. You can also look at your book that came with your washer for stacking guidelines and how to. Works great!

Easy to install

My new washer and dryer were a little too wide for the closet doors that were supposed to hold them. The solution; stack them! When you receive the kit it doesn’t seem like it would be up to holding the units stacked, but once you get it all together it does. I would highly advise that you test fit the kit before committing, measure to make sure it’ll all fit, and know where your dryer is going to exhaust in case you need to buy a rerouting kit (I did so it would exhaust out the side). The dryer isn’t light and really awkward to lift (top heavy) and maneuver over the washer. 2 people are a min, I would recommend 3 (2 to lift and the third to kind of direct/steer the feet). You’ll then need to level both the washer and dryer. Plan a few hours in total. I have not noticed any instability or vibration problems, even on larger loads, and would cause me any concern about the stability of the units. Just plan it out and take your time doing it.

You’ll need a couple/three folks to complete the install but it’s fairly straightforward and is easy to install. Very sturdy once everything is in place. You can even retain one of the bottom storage drawers below the washer [or in my case the optional sidekick washer] if you don’t mind having a small step stool nearby to help you when unloading the dryer. The low cost of this is a brilliant solution for freeing up space in your existing laundry center by going vertical, or to get your side by sides to fit into a too small closet or laundry space. All hardware is included, attach the back bracket with provided screws or using existing screws on the back of your washer, attach the side brackets with their pre-attached sticky tape and screws, place the dryer on top of the washer in the brackets, put the final bracket on the dryer’s front feet, making sure the other feet are all in their little grabbers on the other brackets, attach the last screw or two and you’re done! Bring at least one friend, but it’s much easier and safer with two additional folks to help. Electric dryers aren’t heavy, they’re just bulky and a bit unwieldy when you’re lifting them up to near shoulder height. Keep your dryer’s pedestal drawer in the attic - you’ll need and want it when you move, or when you go to sell that set and buy another set of laundry appliances.

Worked perfectly for my old LG washer and dryer, easy to install. Need two people to lift dryer. Note that the screws are very weird, but the tips are made to be scraped away when you use the screwdriver to screw it in the washing machine and brackets. I wished I stacked my machines a long time ago. Now I have so much more room!
