Sock Snob - Ladies Warm Fluffy Non Slip Alpaca Wool Blend Thermal Slipper Bed Socks with Grippers

When these arrived I simply tried them on and didn't examine them carefully. The cardboard sleeve was clearly new. However on coming to try them properly some time later when I had discarded the wrapping, I found the bottom of each sock was dirty and the 'star grippers' were either missing or broken. The socks looked as if someone had tried them, and later returned them. It was too late for me to do anything about this, so I have just washed them thoroughly, but am very disappointed and would not purchase again as I wanted new socks, not pre-worn.

My wife loves these. They're very cosy and warm and the grips do their job well on our slippy floor. Only issue is with the sizing. They're listed as 4-8 but are a bit too small on her size 7 feet - I'd say more like 4-6.

These socks are gorgeous!! If ur like me and have raynaulds disease, they are useful in keeping feet warm and comfortable even in the summer months! Perfect!

They are a gift so can't comment on comfort but they look great and tue to size (they are a bit shorter than I expected but should fit ok) they are soft and fluffy on the inside although it's not as thick of a pile as I imagined I'm sure they'll be greatly relieved. The only things that's not particularly a negative but is just a bit odd is that they came with a bit of cardboard label around each individualy instead of being in one together

Bought in exasperation after ages looking at endless choices of polyester bed-socks, needed for immediate use. I am trying to avoid polyester, acrylic, polyamide, nylon etc. for the sake of our planet. Almost impossible to find a single pair of bed-socks made of 100% natural material. When I saw 'Alpaca' blend socks I was really hopeful that they would be made more of natural wools than anything else. I was an optimist to say the least; 70% acrylic etc.and only 30% wool, of which alpaca was just half. Why would they choose to name the product for just 15% of its content.............? Further research after the purchase had been made, has revealed these figures elsewhere, but I did not find them in time. I have learned my lesson, but I have lost faith in SockSnob and will not be shopping with them again.

I know these socks are wonderful as I have had them before, this pair is for my mum and I am giving them as a gift at the end of the month.

I was shocked that it was mostly man made fibre & only 10% alpaca!I bought them for my sister who said she doesn’t want them & as her feet are large I think they may be a bit tight fitting for her, I’m happily keeping for myself, so far I only tried them on & as my feet are smallish (5.5) they fit ok but only just & are lovely &warm & comfortable but I haven’t really used them yet

I love my slipper socks. I suffer from swollen and sore feet and have trouble finding slippers to fit comfortably. Will be getting more. Only wish that they did more than just white and a larger size as my mother keeps moaning that she wants a pair. (Now I want to see the back flips).
