My 11 year old son loves this jacket. Its incredibly warm and comfy. He doesn't separate the two layers. The one knock is that the hood zipper was fussy, so we just removed the hood.

I bought this coat for my son. When it arrived we were in the middle of an Arctic cold front with -20° temps and colder wind chill. He never got cold while out for periods longer than 30 minutes with this coat. While we haven't had it long enough to say how well it will hold up, it seems to be built well and is comfortable. My son loves this coat and it was a great price.

Got this for my soon to be 8 year old for the winter. Ordered in size 8. When it's together it keeps him warm and dry. We've use the outer shell as a rain jacket and it works great! Not necessarily warm on its own but is very water resistant. The inner shell when on its own is pretty warm! Not the warmest but definitely does its job. The inner shell is a tad but smaller than the outer shell I assume so that it can fit inside. But everything fits well the outside is a little big but nothing uncomfortable. It's a great jacket but I think the quality could be a little better as far as the stitching etc. BUT it does what it claims and for a good price my kid loves it

Bought this coat for my son. Currently he is wearing only the inner liner as it is plenty warm for him. Will probably add the outer liner when the temperature drops to minus degrees.

I bought one In blue and in black for each my boys. The fit was larger than expected but it still fit fine and they’ll grow into it. My 13 year old complains that it’s too warm but of course as a parent that’s what I’m looking for in a coat. It’s not bulky either which I like.

This is an awesome kids coat, kept my 8 year old nice and warm. for reference he's a size large so I got him the 14 size and it was perfect with ample room for layers, lots of pockets for his knick knacks, the only thing I didn't like is the hood wasn't lined but not a big deal.

I felt like this was a very well made jacket. It felt higher end for the money. It fit well. I like theFact that the inner jacket can be taken out to create a lighter weight shell of an exterior jacket.

The jacket has a very thin windbreaker shell. The hood was paper thin. Zero protection against the wind and not lined at all. Fleece lining was nice but not sufficient for cold winter weather due to poor outer shell.
