Perramus: The City and Oblivion (The Alberto Breccia Library)

I love this book and the artwork by Alberto Breccia. I strongly urge people to buy it. However there is an issue with how it is printed. I received my copy with a tear at the top of the binding. My guess it was jostled during shipping and because of the nature of how the book was bound it caused the tear. This binding means that I'll probably only give this book 1-2 reads before putting it away. Any more reads and it will probably damage the book further.

Breccia was a very unconventional artist in the way he used its tools and in the way he drew comics. This is an essential book to understand his body of work and his character.It is both literary and graphic in the form and it is a political based book in the content.

This book is absurd in the best possible manner. And every page is a work of art on It's own. A must read, up there with the best.
