Pretty bowls - terrible experience.
Alright, so hear me out. The bowls are gorgeous. After shopping around for pasta/salad bowls, they were my first pick. Yes, there are a few imperfections in them, a bubble here or there, but that's to be expected with this type of bowl.The reason that I'm rating them 2 stars is because of the ordeal I've had to go through in trying to get these bowls, twice now. The first time, one of them arrived broken (with no damage to the box it was shipped in). I thought, alright, it happens, ship them back and buy them again! No biggie. I originally ordered the 8 inch salad bowls but after they arrived I decided the 13 inch pasta bowls would be a better fit for what I needed out of them.So, I re-ordered the bowls and shipped the broken set back, this time getting the 13 inch bowls. They arrived here, thankfully not broken, but we were shipped the 8 inch bowls at the price of the 13 inch bowls.At this point, although I really love how the bowls look, the frustration of having attempted the purchase of them twice now to have something wrong is just a bit irritating and I'll probably just move on and find another set I like. Too much trouble.

A bit rough
Ok, so this is what I think. They are pretty, sturdy and the perfect size for reasonable amounts of food. My only comment is that some plates have small rough areas which I want to attribute to the fact that they are ceramic and hence maybe a bit irregular. Other than that, I like them a lot and use them daily. Proven in the dishwasher and microwave !

Love these bowls! I have 3 sets of them. They are durable, clean up well and look beautiful on a table! Highly recommend.
