Have recharged 2 dehumidifiers with 134a refrigerant, both have been running and working for a couple of months now. The original freon was a different number but the internet said the same oil is used with both. Clean the pipe with scotch brite or very fine sandpaper, also put a small wiping of refrigerant oil or synthetic syringe lube on the itty bitty O ring at time of clamping it on, add small amount of gas at a time and if you already do air conditioning and have it, use a small amount of sealant leak detector in the system , because these new china built units must be made of thin material and seem to leak the gas out in less than 2 years , I know this because I have about 6 of them between two houses and they are all short lived. these clamp on valves have saved me from buying more dehumidifiers. Get informed on how to properly use the product
The product is well made and comes complete with the Allen wrench and tubing size adaptors needed to install and use the tool. Follow the directions and study some videos on the proper use of the tool when new coolant needs to be added to an appliance.

They worked
These worked for my situation , no leaks , A/C nice and cold again . They could have at least been tumbled to get the machining looking like quality . Very soft metal too much zinc , but they did do the trick .

Fixed my fridge
Used to replace a leaking prior installed piercing valve. I purchased a used refrigerator several years ago. It had a prior service valve installed that started leaking when 2 of the 3 body bolts broke from age/corrosion. The new valve was installed in the same location and works great with no leaks.
