Must Know High School Biology

We are using this book for homeschool and it is fantastic. The text is engaging, presented in a format that my 13 year old daughter is understanding and remembering. The diagrams are great. We use the app flash cards at the end of each chapter. This is the first science text book I have found where I am certain that we are learning accurate and valuable science at home.

As a former HS bio teacher, this book is great but a little too in the weeds and advanced for general HS bio. More inline with advanced bio classes.

Was a good choice for summer study to keep my sons mind sharp, 90 days of electronic start to wear on the brain, and this helps him stay tuned for next semester

Planning to use this as a review tool before taking Bio 2. Seems like it will be helpful.

I bought this for my friends' son who is struggling with high school biology. His grades have increased significantly with this book and he says ge is no longer using the school text book. He is only using this book and notes!

Very helpful tool for my sixth grader, as we endure the challenges of virtual schooling.

Got this book for 9 grade, doesn’t cover all subjects required by school maybe you can read like a “bestseller “ but definitely can’t study biology. What a waste of money

I needed to get a bio book and I'm not gonna lie, I just typed in highschool biology and chose this book because it had a nice aesthetic. I apparently have an eye for good biology books because this is everything you could want in a textbook. Most importantly, the book is super understandable. I'm not the best at science, and whenever I read my highschool's textbook, I will read a page and need to read it four more times before I actually learn anything. This book, and the fun energy the author brings to it, kept me focused, and I legitimately only needed to read a page once. I get lazy after reading for a while, so the must knows were really nice to have. There are fun btw and irl tabs that offer further readings that gave me really good context. This book held my attention sooooo much longer than how long other reading usually does. If you want to understand bio better and also improve your grade, get this book.
