ECO-FLO Products EFSWJ5 Shallow Water Well Jet Pump, 1/2 HP, 7 GPM

I didn't know these things could catch fire until my old one did.Ordered this one. Hot it in two days, super easy to install, works perfectly... not much more to say. If you need one, do your research. This one was the best in my budget, the h/p I needed and fit perfectly.

Pump was fine and seems to work as expected. When I opened the box with the pump in it, there was also a small box which contained the gauge. Upon opening the box with the gauge, it was full of small shards of glass that shattered from the front of the gauge. Not surprised, since the gauge box was just flopping around loose in the large box with the pump. Could not send it back, since we had to get the water restored. :( Hope they improve their packaging

Arrived with rust side the outlet hole. However it works well for the first week so far and looks nice on the outside. Average noise level.

Pump leaks between the housing and the female screw-in metal on the suction side. Lots of air in the suction of the pump significantly reducing the pump capacity. The pump can’t deliver the expected head therefore it won’t shut off. Had to reduce the head on the control switch to 25 & 5 psi in order for pump to shut off. Literally pump is useless. I bought this pump for the plastic housing and impeller to avoid rust and tastes issues. I bought two pumps with one as backup. Big mistake

I wait 10 months to install it. After finally take my time to weld copper and professionally installed.Only last one month, it only make 20 psi and never stop working, it cannot reach the 50psi set point to stop. Sound weird. I have no warranty because I wait too long to installation. I don’t recommend this. My previous Simmer pump gave me few year of service.

I buy these frequently. The pump itself is quite good. I have to agree occasionally the pressure gages are damaged and the pressure switches can be finicky. Those are easily fixed if they come up. I find them to be a value for the money.

Transferring from old pump to the Eco-Flo pump was simple and very easy. The pressure gauge included had a cracked glass,suggest that the shippers tape down the box the gauge is in to the box the pump sets in, otherwise the gauge just bounces around. I'm pleased to report that the pump is worth the value both in quality and dependability.

I bought the product in February and it is now April and it's not working. I also bought the warranty and no one is returning my money or sending a replacement. I have children also explained that. No response so I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Works great! It had a defective pressure switch but Amazon came to the rescue!
