Cooks perfectly! Highly reccomend this over others.
I was about to buy a different taco maker with mostly solid pieces, but after reading reviews of that taco maker someone mentioned that even though it worked it did not cook evenly. The reviewer also mentioned it would be better to use a wire style taco maker thus I found this Wire Taco Maker. I am not disappointed. This Wire Taco Maker worked perfectly. After heating up my taco shell in the microwave (so it bends without breaking) I place the taco shell into this maker and popped it into the air fryer. Used the recommended cooking instruction on the box, 400 degrees (no preheat) for 4-5 minutes and the shells came out perfect. No dark or burnt areas and a nice bottom to fill with food. The shell were crispy all around.I love it! My only regret is that I only bought one set. I could fit 4 of these into my 8 quart air fryer. The other thing to consider is that the frame will be hot! so cooking multiple shells will require some patience and a pot holder or some other way of handling the taco makers. I will be buying at least 3 more sets to give me a total of 8 taco makers. 4 to cook while the other 4 cool down before prepping to cook the next set of taco shells.Solution: BUY at least two (2) sets (or more) for a total of at least four taco makers so making tacos for a family or guess will be easier, faster, and m ore convenient.

These are the best for cooking hard-shell tacos. Worth the price.
These work perfectly in my air fryer. I lightly spray with EVOO, 5 minutes @ 400f, and bang beautifully cooked. They stand on their own and don't break. Yes, they are lightly made but this is a plus. Allows air to circulate cooking quickly and evenly. These do get hot so you will need to let them cool down or get gloves. I suggest getting two/three times as many as you would use for one batch. This way you can keep going while they're cooling.People who give these 4-stars most likely prefer to not give anything 5-stars or don't like the price. Yes, compared to the other holders they seem more expensive but the people making them are a small group and only have this one item. This means they can't make enough in bulk to bring the price down. But, once you get past the price you will be happy.

Makes a nice Taco shell.
Simple way to fry up a great shaped taco shell. Works very well and is easy to use. When the fixture comes out of the oil it is very hot, so you really need have at least 4 of these to make it easy to make as many shells as you need without waiting for the fixture to cool enough to handle. Fun to use.

Good but way too expensive
It is useful, but way to expensive. The tacos take a good form but the wires are not strong to last for years. I could need two more but I won't buy them again.

Just what I was looking for.
I have never forgotten the taco light that Taco Bell used to sell. Without a doubt they were the best things I ever had from Taco Bell. Unfortunately they didn't stick around very long. They used flour tortillas to make the shells rather than corn. I've never had any luck finding flour taco shells. So I decided to give this a try. While all the videos I saw online show using a skillet with some oil to fry the tortillas, I decided to try the air fryer. I'm happy with the results. While they don't taste exactly like the Taco Light from years ago (I'm sure Taco Bell had their own recipe for the tortillas), I prefer them over the corn tortillas. I found this gadget very easy to use. the clip holds the tortilla in place very nicely and after cooking in the air fryer, removal was a breeze. No breakage and the shells hold their shape. Winner, winner in my book.

They Work to Perfection!!
I love these things!!! They work perfectly!! For so many years I have been making my own shells without the bottom center just triangles! Yeah I had to put them in the micro for 20 seconds then they worked like a charm!! Highly Recommended for Taco Tuesdays!!!
