These shades tent to fail on older Japanese cars. Typically I go OEM, but fir as good as Japanese cars (especially Toyota) are, the original shade is extremely poor quality and can’t be repaired. They have to be replaced. Fortunately, Toyota has excellent after market and these can be replaced cheap on Amazon or other web sites. These do not require any special tools, but they can be a little tricky to replace. Watch a u-tube video. It only takes a couple of minutes once you know what you are doing. Much cheaper than the stealership. I took apart the original and the quality is extremely poor, so anything is an improvement.

This product does not come with instructions so it took me a little longer to understand how to attach it. This was replaced in a 2009 Toyota Camry SE.You’ll first need to remove the old visor. To do so you’ll need a flat head screwdriver to gently pry off the outside cover (illustrated in this photo). This disengages the visor. There should be 2 metal clips that come out at the attachment. If not, you can easily remove these by hand.Before you try to install the visor you should remove the outside cover, gently prying it with a flat head screwdriver. This prepares the new visor to be inserted by “unlocking” the metal clips on the new product. Once inserted where the old visor was removed, push the old cover back firmly and you’ll here the metal clips lock into place. The new visor should now be secure.

Fits really well and works as expected

Normally I tend to buy authentic Toyota replacement parts for my Camry. This time I've decided to go with this off brand to replace the sun visor (3rd time I've had to replace it). This visor is better than the manufacturer at a fraction of the cost. Color was spot on and was easy to install. Highly recommend this product.

I had to watch a video to figure out how to remove the old broken visor, but basically, you just get a flat screwdriver and pry the plastic cover off of the part that attaches to the roof, and it comes right out. Then the new one just snaps in. Very easy.The color matches, it moves around smoothly and actually seems like a better visor than the one I replaced.I have no doubt that the dealership would have charged me a few hundred dollars to install this.I have a 2009 Toyota Camry LE.
