This is a GENERAL LOADER not made exclusively for the FN 509 like the description says. The fit is loose, close to 1/8 of an inch off (Black and FDE magazine pictured) which hinders the quick loading that a speed loader is used for. Also this a 3D printed item and the material used in the printing is not durable. After using the loader to load 6 rounds, the plunger that moves the rounds down was deformed (pictured). The deformed plunger and the loose fit allows the round to slide off to the side of the plunger and then the top round pops up and blocks the insertion of another round.This can load rounds but it is not fast and not easy. If your patience is high then enjoy the cheap loader.It would be better if the loaders tolerance was reduced to 1-2 millimeters on either side of the magazine. Reducing the tolerance would reduce the effect of the deformed plunger kicking out a round.I am comparing the performance and specs to the Springfield Armory XD Speed Loader (Stainless steel and black magazine pictured)Overall, I would not recommend using these loaders. Going to return this and try an find an official FN loader.

I’m giving it four stars because of user experience. I don’t think I’m using it correctly because I’m new to this. Wish it had instructions on the proper way of using it. But made out of good material fits the magazine correctly. It kind of has a I finish that reminds me of a 3-D print. Overall good product

It doesn’t work, the product is not worth your money, find anything other than this.Poor quality, not easy to use, doesn’t hold either.Surprised that Amazon even has it listed on their site.

It doesn't really fit the magazine for the fn509 so you have to finesse it around to get the loader to work right. It doesn't sit in the ideal spot to press the round down, it just pushes down the back end of the round and tilts the bullet up.

Good quality

Product is too big for the FN Magazine. This is absolute junk. the speed loader does not stay latched down to the catch on the magazine. Using this product is equally as much work on your fingers as not using- which begs the question: "why even spend money on this crap?" I opened the package and used it for 3 rounds, put it down, cursed out loud, initiated a return, and began writing this review.
