AMAZING GET IT!
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I am always looking for crock pot recipes and different ones because I can only have so much stew! I am also Gluten free so it wasn't too tough converting everything into GF versions of the foods, also, they give you a list segmented by season of what fruits and vegetables are in season. That way you can tailor your meals to eating seasonally so you get the freshest, full of flavor foods. There are 11 chapters in the book. The first chapter goes over the health benefits of eating fresh and in season fruits and vegetable. The rest of the chapters are broken up into different categories for recipes. There are chapters for breakfast, soups, appetizers, pasta, vegan, fish and seafood, pork and poultry, beef and lamb, sweets, and spreads. You can pretty much make anything in the crockpot. All the recipes are fairly simple to follow. There are no recipes that require you to stir or add ingredients throughout the process. Although these recipes are not the healthiest they are delicious and you can always change the recipes to suit your needs. What I found it that this books opens the way to new ideas and dusting off your crockpot to get cooking! I was able to read this for an unbiased review. There are 150 recipes for your crockpot. These recipes all include whole food ingredients. The book includes recipes for soups, breads, main dishes and deserts. It is perfect for my busy family. It is so easy to read worth it, I would buy it again and again!

Easy to follow recipes and makes great use of my favorite small appliance: the slow cooker!
I am crazy for my crockpot! As a busy mom of 2, there is likely a less useful small appliance out there for me to use! I seriously use my slow cooker 2-3 times per week, if not more so to find a cookbook that offers an additional 150 options to add some variation to my repertoire is awesome. I received an e-copy of this cookbook in exchange for my honest opinion - my opinions remain that -mine and honest. I like that the book starts out with a great list of vegetables and when you may find them in peak season (i.e. also the least expensive time of year to purchase them), so already they are appealing to my savings side (which I love!). With tons of tips like that, how to store foods and when to buy in bulk, the cookbook started out very strong for me, and I liked that! I also like how it is broken down into sections based on the meal, making it easy to navigate. What's more is, this slow cooker cookbook actually has a section for breakfasts - a true rarity among slow cooker cookbooks. I have cooked several of these items and am in love. While I've seen some disparage the healthy factor - low calorie does not always equal healthy. You need to eat calories that are good for you - there is a huge difference between 100 calories of nuts and 100 calories of bacon. But I digress. This cookbook is easy to follow, has beautiful photography (very important to me so I know what I'm getting myself into!) and a great variety of recipes that are easy to execute, yet will impress your family or guests! Delicious!

Great Healthy, Quick, Easy Slowcooker Recipes Cookbook!!
This is by far One of my favorite cookbooks I ever bought . As a single mother, full time student and a parent to a toddler, time is of the essence. I'm always looking for meals that are not only healthy for my one year old (who is picky) and my family to enjoy but something with different flavors and ingredients. With a slow cooker it helps make meals and preparation convenient. Why should you purchase this? The price is amazing and worth it, you get over 150 + receipes that are easy to prepare with quick easy steps, using whole food ingredients by preparing and letting your slow-cooker do the rest! Saves you time and money ! Whether your a beginner cook who's starting out or a pro who enjoys trying new receipes, this cookbook is beneficial for everybody. This cookbook has been so helpful to my cooking preparations and my favorite is the different sections that are categorized in such as appetizers and sides, soups, pastas, vegetarian , main course dishes, etc. With detailed description and pictures of some of these receipes, it also includes suggestions and tip at the end of each receipe. There is receipes for everybody according to their tastebuds or occasion. The best advice I learned from reading and using this cookbook is to eliminate unprocessed and packaged foods and use healthier quality alternatives. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to try new flavorful receipes that are easy to prepare in your slow cooker. I received this free in exchange for my honest opinion.

A great way to change up dinner!
In this book you will find 150 recipes that require less than 15 minutes of prep time. Every recipe is a "fix and forget" as they are all made in a slow cooker. I am a busy mom on the go and any recipes that can help me cut time or allow me to be able to leave it and get other things done is a complete bonus! Each recipe in this cookbook is made up of healthy and nutritious foods all packed into a bowl full of flavor. I have already tried a few of the recipes and am completely impressed. There are some recipes we just refuse to try but this can happen in every cookbook as there are certain food we do not put in our every day diet.Over all I enjoyed reading through each recipe and the explanation on how slow cooking can be beneficial ,healthier and more convenient. This book has definitely broadened my way of cooking. This cook book will come in handy on weekends and definitely in the fall. I do recommend this cookbook to those who are wanting a change in their daily foods and tastes.I have received this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review

Needs pictures!
Dissapointed with the lack of pictures. There is only one picture per 'chapter' (ie: breakfast, soups etc.) And these pictures are not even labelled!I haven't made anything from this book yet, and only flagged a few recipes for my 'to make' list.So far, dissapointed with my purchase.
