I have had no problems with this ESC. Easy as all the other ones, no overheating, sturdy, seems of good quality.

Plug and Play
I bought this to run an under water thruster motor. I’m new to all this, so was unsure as how to set this up. The instructions said to power it up with the control signal full on. Then wait for a series of beeps then turn the control to full off. This didn’t seem to work so I hooked up the motor, plugged in the power with the controller set to off. After a few seconds there were a few tones and when I ramped the speed signal and it just worked

Don't buy
It will reset the throttle limits whenever it feels like. I got one all set up in a new model I built from scratch, turned it on to tune the servos and it decided that 0% throttle now means 100%. It flew off the table hitting the wall, broke the airplane in half and damaged the flight controller. I will never put one of these in anything again. Massive safety hazard

Reliable
Super reliable. After having multiple ESCs burned, this one is holding up

Not my first choice
I've experienced several brands of speed controllers and I'm not crazy about these. I've had a few that failed, burning 2 holes in the side and i always use recommended esc amperage it even 10a more just to be safe
